Honestly, my husband and I have been scheduling our dental appointments together for years here in Roanoke, VA. We both took time off work for our teeth cleaning, but when we arrived, they claimed only one appointment was booked. They didn't even offer to squeeze me in—just nothing. While waiting in the lobby, another lady came in for her appointment and got told the same thing. She said she'd made it at her last cleaning, but they didn't help her either. What are the odds two appointments get missed on the same day for different people?

Look, if you're doing expensive dental work like fillings or crowns here in Roanoke, VA, you should tell people upfront what it'll cost—especially for charges over $100. The other day, I got hit with over $400 at checkout, and it felt like it was just slapped in my face. How am I supposed to know if that's correct or made up? I've never been billed before and thought insurance covered everything. Plus, I gave you my new address, but you didn't update it in time. Just really frustrating.

I really wanted to like this Roanoke, VA dentist, but things haven't been the same since the pandemic. For my last two appointments, I waited 25 minutes past my scheduled time. Today, my teeth cleaning finished at 5:07, and instead of waiting to review my panoramic X-rays and give me a clean bill of health, the doctor left right at five. My insurance was billed for an oral evaluation, but Dr. Coots didn't do one. Not sure what's going on with this place anymore.
