Worst dental cleaning I’ve ever gotten in my life!!! Recently moved to ny and how horrible is the health care over here! I’ve never gotten a cleaning done where they don’t floss you teeth? Is this something new. I’d rather drive back 1 hr 30 mins to my old dentist then receive any kind of dental work here. Especially this office. Money money is all he wants.
Painless and professional experience at this Staten Island dental office. The coordination between Dr. Galligan and Victoria was like watching a ballet - instruments passed before my eyes with hardly a word spoken and no mistakes. Went to Dr. TJ Galligan years ago, and he trained his son well. Years of schooling and practice definitely helped! Their cosmetic dentist team really knows their stuff.

Hands down the best around Staten Island. Dr. Thomas Galligan is an absolute gem and his staff is wonderful. All the dentists here are incredibly skilled, experienced, caring and warm. I've recommended this practice to so many people who've become loyal patients and I'll keep doing it wholeheartedly. My husband and I came here for the first time and had a wonderful experience in Staten Island! The receptionists were all very patient and helpful. The dentist was really friendly and knowledgeable. The dental hygienist Anita was so sweet and warm - she made sure I felt comfortable and explained a lot. She was such an angel because she helped remove all the stubborn plaque, especially this yellow stain on my front tooth I was always hesitant to smile with. The previous place didn't do a good job, but Anita's teeth whitening service approach really made a difference.

Honestly, coming here is always a pleasure! The front desk staff in Staten Island are so nice and welcoming. I actually look forward to seeing Gabriella every 6 months for my cleaning - she's absolutely amazing, super warm, and really good at her job. She makes the whole process easy. Dr. Pepe was wonderful too, had great feedback and bedside manner. Overall, it's always a great experience for what can feel like a daunting visit. Definitely coming back for my regular dental cleanings!

Couldn't recommend this dentist in Staten Island highly enough. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm and genuinely caring - immediately put me at ease. Came in for a root canal, something I was really anxious about, and was amazed how stress-free it was. Dr. Pepe was incredibly gentle and thorough, explaining everything so I felt comfortable. The procedure was completely pain-free, which I didn't think was possible with emergency dental service like that. Left feeling relieved and well taken care of.

Dr. Pepe has been working on a few molars. His patient care is outstanding. He informs the patient of the steps he is taking to ensure patient finds comfort throughout the procedure. He ensures customers satisfaction to the degree he called me a few days after a procedure to check up on me. I was amazed at the level of outstanding patient care he provides. Dr. Pepe knew I despised the Dentist but has made my experience comforting and worthwhile. 5 stars for patient care, knowledge and meaningful outcomes.

Dr. Lafferty and Dr. Galligan are the sweetest in Staten Island, as are all their hygienists! Always have a great experience there and I'm not a person who loves the dentist lol. The office is so clean and they're always accommodating for my busy schedule. Have very sensitive teeth and never have an issue there, even when I needed a cavity filled. Would definitely recommend this practice for anyone needing orthodontist services or general care.

The staff and Dentist at Galligan and Villa are very friendly, professional. If you don’t like going to the dentist, like most people, everyone here made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Went to Drs. Galligan & Villa Dental Studio in Staten Island because I was dealing with tooth sensitivity and was seen right away by Dr. Lafferty and her assistant Ro. They quickly figured out my wisdom tooth was causing pain and needed extraction. Was honestly very nervous, but they made me feel so comfortable. Always been afraid of the dentist, but didn't feel a thing during the procedure. Dr. Lafferty has incredibly gentle hands - the extraction was smooth and completely painless. Highly recommend their emergency dental service.

Had such a great experience with my dental hygienist Anita at this Staten Island office! She was incredibly gentle and thorough, made me feel comfortable the entire time. Nothing but great things to say about this Staten Island dental office. First came in April 2025 with severe wisdom-tooth pain and got a next-day appointment with Dr. Pepe - he was fantastic, honest and thorough. Later joined their dental savings program, which is affordable without insurance. Every visit since has been positive - my most recent cleaning with hygienist Anita was the most thorough in my 30 years. She's incredibly knowledgeable. Their dental implants information was really helpful too when I asked.

Like no kidding, dentists at other clinics told me I would need more work and gave a "cleaning" that was unnoticeable but here.. not only did Dr. Pepe tell me we could just do a filling. He also spent the time and focus to get my fillings done perfectly. It was some quality work!

I called and was given an appointment for the same day. In at noon out by 12:46. X-rays and a deep cleaning that removed some black stains on my teeth. The hygienist and dentist were so nice and explained everything for me. I was given an appointment for follow up work and a breakdown of what my benefits covered versus my out of pocket costs. Within 46 minutes! This is definitely my new dentist on the island. Thank you!

I’ve never been to a dentist’s office where the energy felt this good! The staff here are so friendly, professional, and genuinely seem to love what they do. You can tell they value every patient and take real pride in their work. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming — it actually makes going to the dentist enjoyable. My Invisalign results have been amazing so far, and even though I travel a good distance to get here, it’s absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Dr. Ryan Galligan has been my mother's dentist in Staten Island for years now. Today's visit was extremely important. Dr. Galligan and his staff were welcoming as always, showing concern, compassion and professionalism at every turn. Dr. Galligan may just be the most talented dentist in this region - he handled my mother's issue immediately without wasting time. It's an hour and a half after her procedure and she's not experiencing any pain. Thank you Dr. Ryan for calming us - you're appreciated beyond words. I’ve been to many dentists during my lifetime, and no practice compares to the practice of Drs. Galligan & Villa. The entire team is exceptionally professional, friendly, efficient, and great at what they do. I schedule my appointments throughout the year with my two young girls, and we never have any delays or issues. The kids do not dread going to the dentist, and in fact, they don’t even flinch while we’re there either. Just great people across the board.
