So. lol… One of my crowns decided it wanted to fall from grace 😂 while eating a home made rice crispy treat that apparently had little hard a$$ pieces of confetti in it. ON HALLOWEEN. Right before i was getting ready to slip i to my costume and be a different person for the night. This crown 👑 was def a damper on my evening.
STAFF - 10/10 (front desk lady, very sweet) Dr. Cantu (bout her business ain’t got time for chit chat / jokes. She’s very matter of fact. I can respect it.) There was an interesting vibe between the dental hygienist and Dr. Cantu. I work in education so studying / monitoring behaviors kind of comes with the job. It’s seems that the hygienist was “new” to the team, and it may have been that the two of them hadn’t done an oral surgery together before. I noticed them struggling to communicate with each other about hardware used, and hardware placement. Although my mouth was wide open, I could taste blood in my mouth from the extraction. I wanted them to figure out a way to work together because I’m already anxious bout this crown, missing my Halloween party, and worried about how my smile was going to look once they were done.
As I said, Dr. Cantu, is about her business. She never changed her tone or demeanor (so i still felt like I was in good hands) but the tension was obvious. It def made me nervous (mouth wide open , hole in my head, blood, clenching my butt cheeks and flexing my legs) 😂 if you’ve been in the dentist chair for oral surgery you get it. lol
Nevertheless, she stormed off. (Yes stormed) lol! I was praying the entire time… lord please don’t let their differences interfere with this procedure. The front desk agent, came back to finish the procedure with Dr Cantu. Left with blood on my shirt… a swollen cheek, a temporary bridge, and two prescriptions.
As far as the procedure my tooth didn’t let the monarchy go easy! Dr was struggling to get that baby out of there! She kept her composure? Remained professional, and got it done. I’m having NO pain, minimal swelling, partial looks “ok”but ready to get it handled. I’d go back (i actually have to) but for a last minute dental emergency, they took care of me! Despite the drama! lol!

Came in because I was having pain from one tooth that started causing headaches. Was told it was from plaque buildup in my gums, so I took their word. Five days later still having same headaches and tooth pain. I understand I may have needed a gum cleaning, but it would've been great if the issue I came in for was actually taken care of. Process of elimination is fine, but not when you're spending a thousand dollars per procedure to figure out what the problem is when I told them exactly what was giving me pain.

This is not a simple mistake—it's careless, disrespectful, and a huge waste of my time. It was my first time at the dentist and everyone is so nice, had to get the rest of my tooth pulled everything went really well and was fast. I didn’t have my insurance card so I had to pay to get started which was only $99 but even for the procedure it self they had a payment plan so you can pay it off monthly. Lady in the front was very nice as well. Even let me borrow her charge will definitely go back there

I was offered an appointment within just a few hours and was seen by friendly professional staff. I went in expecting and would have paid for extractions but was advised to try over the counter decongestants before deciding on this route-very ethical. I will return here for future care if it is necessary. The price I was quoted for care if needed was not cheap but was very fair and reasonable.

Dr sharp and staff were amazing. They sure that I was ease the moment I sat in the chair. Dr. sharp was very attentive to my comfort and pain level. It my numbing process was very lengthy and he very patient with my oral nerves. Dr A was amazing at the east side clinic on yesterday he to made sure that I had some pain until I could get see Dr Sharp. I loved the doctors straightforward treatment plan.
