The front desk service at this New York dental clinic was extremely poor. I called to request my personal CT scan electronically, but they refused to cooperate. When I said I needed it urgently, they read my message but never responded. Patients have the right to access their medical information, but the front desk withheld my records and wouldn't assist, saying they were too busy. I'm very disappointed and angry about this.

Been coming here for over a decade! The receptionist is always pleasant and helpful when I have any questions. She does a great job reminding me of my routine cleanings/appointment! The dentist is gentle and does a thorough job when I go for my routine cleanings in addition to giving me advice for better oral health. A plus is that all the staff are bilingual: English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. The office is clean with chairs and access to the bathroom. Prices are affordable for procedures such as teeth whitening and so on.
The team at this dental office are exceptional! I’ve had the pleasure of doing treatments here and couldn’t have been more happy about the outcome. Dr.Richard Yang and Dr.Gordon Wang have done an amazing job. My Invisalign treatment as well as crowning have been performed to perfection by these 2 doctors! Dr. Helen Cai has also been amazing with my cleanings as she super gentle and thorough, can’t recommend her enough for your cleanings!

5 out of 5. 10 out of 10. If you’re looking for a recent review on Empress Dental - here you go. An amazing staff and dentist; I can’t give enough positive feedback. It was clean with comfortable chairs to wait in and I appreciated the diverse clientele. I was promptly guided through the new patient process, X-rays seamless (not painful/awkward) and a great cleaning. But what really blew me away was how personable Dr. Wang was, answering every question and throughly explaining my mouth health in terms I could understand. He also, for no extra charge, fixed a veneer issue an old dentist didn’t. No other dentist I’ve seen has taken the time to do that.
They have a loyal patient out of me. I never loved going to the dentist, but it’s a pleasure here!
Dr. Gordon Wang is meticulous and patient, he is detail oriented when he explained the procedure to potentially add a crown to my top back tooth. He drew out a diagram and 3D sketch of the potential outcomes of long term retainment. The facility is clean and the front desk receptionist Anna is very kind, prompt and thorough with her work. I highly recommend Dr. Wang because of this expertise and many years of experience in the dental field. He genuinely cares about his clients and makes sure he delivers superb service and results. I’ve been coming here for the past couple of years and I think the dental service has been the best I’ve had so far. I always schedule my appointments with Dr. Helen Cai because she is the best dentist there. She cleans my teeth very well and my gums never bleed compared to other dentists I’ve had. It is very obvious she is dedicated to her craft. I also like how she explains what is going on with my teeth to me and gives me good advice on how to take care of my teeth.
