Been coming here for 10 years, and they still treat me like family. I'm absolutely terrified of dentists, but everyone here respects that. They make sure I have sedation and nitrous oxide during procedures, and they take their time. Honestly, if I wasn't comfortable, I wouldn't keep driving all the way to Encino. I had a really frustrating experience with a refund for a sleep apnea mouth guard. I did the fitting in October 2024, and the practice got paid by insurance on December 23, 2024. They didn't respond to my calls in 2025. It's now January 7, 2026, and I just got a partial refund. During a follow-up in January 2025, they could have easily refunded me then, but I left thinking they hadn't heard from insurance. Not happy with how this was handled.

Ani is the best dental hygienist ever!! I’ve been going to this dental office for years and have always been pleased with the good service and quality people.
Unfortunately I had to learn this the hard way that this office does not provide any after hour and emergency care. I had an awful tooth pain on a Saturday and I left 3 messages at 8 in the morning never got a call back. Ended up going to a different office and paid out of pocket. Got a call at 4 PM from the receptionist not even the doctor. We are moving to a different doctor.
I was very impressed by Dr. and staff with their professionalism, expertise & outstanding pt.care. Overall had an amazing experience!

Dr Matt has angel hands, he did a filling and a replacement of a silver filling for a ceramic one and I am so very pleased. My friend is a client for years and loves this place as so do I. Staff is great and I’m quite surprised for these bad reviews because I’ve had such great service here. 10/10 for me one of the best dentistries that doesn’t upsell you unnecessary treatments. I have had a lot of work done on my teeth w braces and cavity stuff and I appreciate honest service. So glad my friend recommended this place.
I went to see Dr. Zarinnia who was referred by my Doctor for a mouth guard. Dr. Zarinnia was great, got the mouth guard done and made adjustments as needed. Their front office is terrible though. They don’t accept insurance, so they make you pay upfront and then they submit the claim to the insurance company. I was told it would take a few weeks to get the response from the insurance company on the reimbursement. It has been almost 4 months since I made the payment to the dental office, and over 2 months since I got the mouth guard. I have been following up with their office to get the status of the claim, and every time they tell me they will follow up with the insurance company and let me know. I have been following up every week for the past month and not only they have not provided any updates or even a claim number so I can follow up with their insurance company, but now they seem to be screening my calls (they are just not picking up the phone). This mouth guard was several thousand dollars, so it is a significant amount. The lack of service and response on this is totally unacceptable. I should have looked for another option.
I saw Dr. Zarinnia yesterday for the first time . From the moment I walked in I liked his office. The front desk were very professional and quick. Doctor himself was very nice , knowledgeable and friendly. And I loved Debra his hygienist. She was the best hygienist I have ever seen. My teeth were so happy after seeing her 🥰 I finally found a dentist office that I love . Thank you Dr Matt Zarinnia and all the staff.
