This continues from my earlier review. I got a second opinion from another dentist in Roanoke, VA, and they said I didn't need all the work Eschenbach recommended—insurance wouldn't cover it either. The new dentist gave me the cleaning I'd asked for, and everything's fine now, so I can move forward with repairs from COVID. Proves to me they were only about the money. Still, the treatment I got there was okay as far as the emergency dental care went.

It was a great experience as usual - staff are always friendly, welcoming, helpful with questions, and they get you in on time and out the door quickly. Exam rooms are clean, nicely decorated and the TV playing scenery is a great bonus.

My husband has severe fear of dentists. When we moved here I tested 3 dentists before finding Eschenbach. This has been the best fit. He mixes old school with new school techniques. The staff get to know you and listen to your concerns. I haven't felt like I've ever been in better hands.
Dr. Eschenbach and his staff are very in tune with their patients. They are very attentive and they truly care about their patients. I had 2 fillings to be done and his assistant was comforting me and making sure I was not in pain and making sure I was comfortable.
The staff is wonderful. The atmosphere and appearance of the office itself is comfortable and clean. My dental hygienist is engaging, professional and always a pleasure to deal with.

Been a patient for 23 years, even before Dr. Eschenbach took over in Roanoke, VA. He's a phenomenal dentist with the best personality and really cares about his patients. I have dental coverage he doesn't participate with, but I forfeit it because nothing could make me search for another dentist. I’ve been going to this office since I moved to Roanoke in 2004 at its old location, with its previous dentist. If I’m willing to go across town for something, you know it’s worth it. Dr. E and Kristy are the absolute BEST and I think I’ve referred no less than 10 of their patients to them. I also think Kristy knows my life story at this point haha. They make me comfortable and keep me calm in the chair, and that is hard to do. There’s no way I’d go anywhere else.
Dr. Eschenbach is a great dentist, he will do what is necessary to make his patients feel comfortable. I had what I considered an emergency, Dr. Eschenbach let me come in the same day, worked on my tooth until it looked like nothing ever happened which caused him to stay later than usual. What he did with my tooth that broke off at the gum, I didn't think was possible (IT WAS LIKE HE PERFORMED MAGIC). Dr. Eschenbach is absolutely the best dentist that I have seen since I moved to Roanoke. He and his staff are very friendly and they remember you, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to this office because I know they would be getting the best care possible. I cant THANK YOU enough for being so patient and kind to me.

Best Dentist in TOWN! Dr. Eschenbach is very caring and has your best interest at heart. Dr. E did my last crown using his 3D printer. Was done in only a couple of HOURS, wished he had done the other 12!!! My husband and son are very picky about who they go to and both really like Dr. E and his staff - Lynn, Mary Beth, Rosie and Kristy. Fun, respectful, and honest folks. Dr. E is young and very experienced with the new dentist technology. I trust him with my health and my family's health. I look forward in seeing him in another 6 months.
