Worse place I have ever been. The dentist there just flat out didn’t want to help. He insulted me in every way he could masking it. Go to another dentist and he did not have the same opinion at all. I have never felt as uncomfortable as I did there. I was accused from the front desk girl of contesting I was ever there bc of my signature wasn’t “pretty”. Accusing me of being a crook. I was met right away with accusations. My first time ever stepping in there. I know the dentist is from India and I know they don’t look highly on women and they live in a hierarchy there. As a woman he made me feel very low.
Love this office! Even though he is leaving, Dr. Mathai is AMAZING! He is the most helpful dentist I have ever met. Helped us remove some old braces glue from nieces teeth, that was causing damage, when no one else would help! Truly a life saver. Sad to see him go. Works quickly and always does great work!
I had a great experience at Fairview Heights Dentistry! I was able to schedule a same-day appointment online and did not have to wait long once I got to the office. The staff was incredibly nice and I had a nice conversation with everyone that I encountered. Furthermore, the office is kept clean and decorated very nicely. Honestly, finding a dentist in Fairview Heights that's both professional and laid-back is tough, but Fairview Heights Dentistry nails it. The hygienist was outstanding—I barely felt anything during my dental cleaning, which was a first for me. Dr. Vargas and the assistant were super personable and actually listened to my concerns. They kept me calm with small talk, and even my 4-year-old daughter felt comfortable during her checkup. We're definitely sticking with them for all our family dental needs in IL!

Fairview Heights Dentistry was great from the initial check-up and cleaning to my wisdom teeth removal. I was hoping to be knocked out, but they only use local anesthesia. Had a bit of a freak-out during the numbing shots, but they were patient and made sure I felt nothing for the extraction. Jess, the dental assistant, was so sweet and helped with my anxiety. I'd suggest them to anyone in IL for procedures like this. 😊

Had a true dental emergency in Fairview Heights when part of my crown broke off last night—I was in a lot of pain. Called Fairview Heights Dentistry first thing, and they got me in quickly. Treated me like I'd been their patient for years, even though I hadn't been since pre-COVID. The dentist kept me pain-free and comfortable (I'm tough to numb!), and his assistant was excellent. Front desk was friendly and fast. So grateful for the emergency dental care in IL!

Thankfully, with the help of my wife and Brittany, I was able to see Dr. Vargas a half hour after we called. Not bad, given the post-Covid world we live in now.
Dr. Vargas was awesome, as was the hygienist and Brittany, of course. All very polite, professional, and empathetic to my issue. I was very impressed with the services they provided and will continue to use their services.

Recently started seeing this dentist and I absolutely love this place. The entire staff is super friendly. The dentist and hygienist are thorough in explaining the procedures. The office itself is very clean and quiet. Going to the dentist is already stressful, this office does everything it can to relieve that.
Right before our anniversary trip, I got a toothache and panicked—thankfully, Fairview Heights Dentistry in Fairview Heights got me in right away. The staff is awesome and made me feel so relaxed. Dr. Vargas was super personal and had me comfortable within minutes. The emergency dental care was perfect, no pain at all, and before I knew it, he was done. Now my husband and I are permanent patients. Highly recommend this place for anyone in IL needing urgent help!

I am an almost 30 year old woman...and terrified of the dentist. Always have been. Actively avoided them for years. Wouldn’t even date someone with a dentist in the family kind of avoid...so when I cracked 2 teeth completely in half the month I moved here from STL, I most certainly waited until I was in excruciating pain to frantically call the closet dentist...luckily, this was them. From the first call I made, to the follow up cleaning (that I actually went to AND scheduled my next 6 month cleaning), this place was amazing. Friendly, relatable, incredibly compassionate, honest, and CLEAN. They found the perfect balance between “budget friendly dental care” and not cutting corners. Thank you all, I will never go anywhere else!

The experience was wonderful—you can watch TV from the chair if you want, but I didn't need it. Dr. Vargas repaired my tooth in no time with hardly any pain.
