After being married to a dental hygienist for 15 years, it took me ages to find a dentist and hygienist I felt comfortable with post-divorce. Dr. Beck and his whole team at Family Dental Care in Glen Ellyn have shown over the last decade that they're exactly what I needed—friendly pros up front and wonderful, caring hygienists and support staff. They told me that they accepted my insurance. Turns out they don't and they sent me a bill after a routine cleaning.
Update: They know the only insurance they're "in-network" for is Delta Dental. So if you say you have any other insurance, them saying they accept it is misleading. They should be forthright and let you know that it would be out of network and charges may apply.
I have to assume that you know this, don't tell patients, simply to earn business and mislead people.
Update: They finally admitted they messed up and removed the charges. Obviously we won’t be back. But if you want to use insurance make sure you ask if they not only accept it but they are in-network. Remember they only accept one specific insurance as in-network.

Just moved to Glen Ellyn from Miami and honestly, finding this dental office was a huge relief. Their attention to detail and customer service is way better than any dentist I've been to before. Janine, the office manager, gave me such a warm welcome that made switching from my old dentist out of state so much easier. John and Brandi at the front desk were super helpful with checking in, insurance stuff, and explaining my treatment plan. The dental assistants were amazing and gentle with the x-rays, and my hygienist Carmen is the best. Couldn't be happier with my experience here in Glen Ellyn, especially for general dentistry and dental implants.

Great dentist office - Dr Beck has the best bedside manner and is so calming I have never had a bad experience even when the surgery was brutal - prices could be better and seems to be more expensive than I remembered years ago. As long as Dr. Beck doesn’t leave practice I won’t leave - 😃

Can't recommend Family Dental Care of Glen Ellyn enough. They're so personable and really take care of you. I've been going here for years, and Maggie, my dental hygienist, remembers me like it was last week even after six months. They treat you like family, and it's so appreciated for things like teeth whitening and pediatric dentistry. Honestly, they're the best in Glen Ellyn.

Broke a tooth in Oct '25 and went here since I was looking for a new dentist in Glen Ellyn. Was told I needed a crown and explained my retirement plan only covers 2 cleanings and 1 x-ray per year. Quoted $2100 with a $783 write-off, so I agreed. Now after several texts, they're still holding me responsible for the balance. Buyer beware of these bait-and-switch tactics, especially with limited insurance. Wouldn't recommend this practice at all for things like crowns or dentures.

Dr. Beck has been taking care of my parents and me for years. Just saw him last week—he fixed my cracked tooth! He's so professional and kind, and his hygienist Linna is too. Would recommend him and his team to anyone in Glen Ellyn for emergency dentistry and root canals. They're awesome!

I love Dr. Jansky and the other assistants and hygienists, but the front desk staff's incompetence really messed things up. I was charged almost $800 for a service I asked twice if it would be covered—once when scheduling and again when I arrived. They said it was covered while I was in the chair, but at my next visit, they told me I had a balance due because insurance denied it. Super frustrating experience with billing in Glen Ellyn.

The office and treatment room were super clean, everyone was on time, and the team was really friendly. Maggie was my hygienist and made the cleaning super comfortable. Have been coming here since 2014 when my former dentist retired. After doing online research, I decided to try Family Dental Care of Glen Ellyn and was not disappointed. Dr Jansky has been awesome. My most recent visit was yesterday when she and assistant Sky repaired a broken filling with a crown. They asked about my pain level as the procedure progressed and kept me comfortable. I have a fear of dental work, but feel comfortable coming here.
