Honestly, my teeth are pretty challenging, but Dr. Kim at Family Dentist in Elverson, PA is totally up for it! I'm always taken care of in such a nice, professional way. The facility is spotless every time I go in, and the front desk staff is always pleasant and efficient. Couldn't ask for better family dental care in our area.

I never truly realized how incredible Dr.Kim was until I lost my parents insurance and had to find my own dentist. Always a clean office, friendly staff, and quality work that doesn’t leave you sore for days.
Very accommodating, professional and friendly! The hygienist was incredibly nice. The best part is they use warm water to rinse - that's game changing.

I did have one issue where a crown they placed came off, and it took several days to get me in when I thought it would be next day. She allegedly checked with insurance but didn't ask the caregiver if it was okay. My son's gut told him to check with me, but the dentist never gave him that chance. I had a new crown and replaced filling in February, 2025. I indicated I would be going on vacation in 2 days and was falsely assured all would be ok.
I had no pain and no sensitivity whatsoever before any work had been done at this office.
I was informed the tooth (and adjacent tooth) had a crack and adjacent tooth needed a filling replaced so I proceeded with the recommendation for a crown and replacement filling. Because I was going away and typically it takes 2 weeks for the entire process (I know that now, but was not informed during the appt) they assured me they could replace the filling, and prep the tooth for a crown in the time allotted! After the tooth was prepped I had returned 3 times before a temporary cap was put in! The tooth was extremely sensitive (which I had stated), and different staff members attempted fitting the crown SEVERAL times - even pressing down hard onto the sensitive prepped surface (the staff does not listen to their patients).
I had asked the same question to 3 different dental staff and received different answers - can I use a water pik? The problem is they were not listening or asking questions to understand me (different answers apply based on a permanent vs temporary crown).
Now I don’t chew on the left side of my mouth. The tooth with a crown is extremely sensitive, and they drilled a significant amount from a tooth that touches the crown on the top to try and fit everything properly. It’s now extremely sensitive as well!!!!!
I emailed Elverson Dental to transfer records and paperwork (and cancel existing appts for myself and my husband) in March to a new professional practice! I continued to get text confirms and emails after the transfer. I’ve called twice since the transfer to stop the emails and texts.
This office team needs to be better trained - and training needs to include some soft skills in listening and checking for understanding. You can tell many are new to the profession and unsure of themselves - which is ok - but they require oversight!!!
I would NOT recommend this dentist at this time!!

Had two crowns put in at Family Dentist in Elverson, PA. During the drilling, there was so much water in my mouth I feared I'd start choking - had to cough some out. The dentist and hygienist didn't seem to notice I was struggling, maybe they were focused on the work. Other than that, everything went well and was pretty painless. Dr. Kim took time to explain what she was doing, which I appreciated for my crowns procedure.

My family just became patients of Dr. Kim and today was my first appointment. Kayla did an excellent job with cleaning my teeth and taking images...this was the least amount of pain and blood that I have ever experienced! Dr. Kim was very thorough and explained everything about my teeth clearly. They are an in-network provider for Delta Dental which is awesome.
The pain and lack of care and concern this office has caused me is so very upsetting! Very Long time patient but I can tell you I will never set foot in this office again! Nor will I ever recommend this office. Things changed when she moved into her new building. It's not about her patient's any longer..it's about $$ and moving as many people that she can with fabricated and unnecessary treatments. She caused me alot of pain and suffering. In the end...a very minor and non-invasive treatment to treat all the pain and discomfort CAUSED by this office. If only Dr. Kim had paid attention and really looked my teeth, she would have seen the issue. Instead she took A VERY quick peak with recommendation of a very unnecessary root canal. Top things off..she didn't call to discuss this. Just told front office in my notes to referr me to root canal specialist if I complained again. I had wanted her to see me again but office gal said it was unnecessary from Dr. Kim's notes from the day before. So it was weeks of very unnecessary pain getting very severe with no eating, drinking or sleep the last 3 days of it! Oh..she also didn't feel I needed anything for pain and put me on antibiotics with no sign of infection. I'm finally starting to feel better in no thanks to Dr. Kim and staff.
