My first time here and the cleaning was mediocre. Very fast. The dentist came in barely looked at my teeth and left. I know that i have some major issues with my teeth and he didn’t address any of them. I asked about a bite guard and they said they would let me know if it gets approved. It did and they never let me know to come in. I guess because I have Medicare they maybe don’t put much effort in but I will not go back here. The front desk people were very nice.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Paula at the front desk is the sweetest person with a heart of gold - she truly cares about you. I have severe dental anxiety and don't have many positive moments with dentists, but between Paula and Dr. Oehlberg, they seriously try their hardest to put you at ease. We moved in 2021 to almost an hour away from Edison, NJ, but we still come here as a family for our dental care. That's how good they are.

I had an emergency and called in the early evening. Paula answered the phone and scheduled me for the following morning. Dr. Oehlberg was able to repair my very old inlay with a minimum of cost. I had been going to another dentist and not happy. My good friend recommended Dr Oehlberg around four years ago and I couldn't be happier. Paula and Liz make you feel like family.

First let me Begin by saying I am one of those People that are extremely afraid of the dentist. I have heightened anxiety at the thought of going into the office. This dental office has changed my life and the life of my teeth. The front office staff is amazing. from scheduling to greeting to making me feel extremely comfortable from the moment I walked in the door until I leave. It's like a family.
The Dr. Is AMAZING. For the first time in my 50 years of life I have a dentist that I can trust. I trust him so much I keep coming back over and over and over again that is miraculous for me. Check them out if you don't believe you. I highly recommend this office.

I true love this dentist and I don’t like dentist one bit. Everyone there makes you feel very comfortable and that speaks volumes. Dr Oehlberg does work on you and does not make you feel scared. He explains to you the work that needs to done. I would highly recommend this place and if I could give more stars I would. You guys ROCK!!!!
Dr.Oehlberg is incredible! I’ve been going there since I was a kid! They always fit us in and always made our experience pleasant! Not only is the dentist awesome they have a great staff which is hard to find. I would recommend people to go here if they want a great dentist!
Giving 5 stars to this office in Edison. The staff is really nice, especially Paula at the front desk. Second time here and they took care of me right at my appointment time - no waiting around. The cleaning was very good too, no rush at all. Very satisfied with the results. If you're searching for a dentist in Edison, NJ like I did for so long, this is definitely the place. I've been coming here since I was a child and all the staff are very pleasant. Dr. Oehlberg is nice and tries make sure you feel the least pain possible. Receptionist is always friendly and able to give me appointments that work for my schedule. Would definitely recommend Family Dentistry of Edison!

Staff made me feel so comfortable. They are the most amazing office I’ve ever seen in my 43 years. I had been told by another school of dentistry that I had to have all my upper teeth pulled and a full upper denture, so I went to them for a second opinion and did a gum test, x-ray and consulted in doing a bridge and gum treatment and my teeth look amazing. I highly recommend these guys for anyone for the mere fact of the entire staff being caring and wonderful! Thank you!
