Dr. Ahn is a gentle anesthetist. She works quickly, explains everything as she goes, and asks frequently how I am doing. Eileen is also very kind and explains everything. She and Dr. Ahn are a great team and they made it a very easeful and pleasant experience.

I am embarrassed to admit, but I'm one those stupid adults who allows my personal fear of dentists to dictate my visiting dentists. It's been a very long time since I have seen a dentist, and I had a crown pop off. I found Federal Way Modern Dentistry through my insurance, and I had initially planned on it just being a quick "go in, have your crown reset"... But ended up finding that I need two root canals two cavities filled , and two new crowns. So what I expected to be a 30-minute visit turned into a 4-day ordeal.
That being said, I am so lucky to have found federal Way modern dentistry, as they have made this one of the best dental every person I've interacted with has been extremely polite, extremely warm and friendly, extremely patient and understanding, and never judgmental. Because of how much work I had to have done, and over the different days, I met multiple people and every one of them had the same amount of professionalism and patience and understanding. Plus, as much as I hate needles, they made every shot and injection I had as comfortable as I've ever experienced in any medical procedure. Great team, can't recommend them enough.

My new favorite dental clinic! I needed an in-network place for my MetLife insurance and so glad I found this one. Everyone from reception to the staff, especially Kim, is kind and helpful. Dr. Ahn was personable and gentle—she caught cracks in my old fillings that my previous clinic missed just six months ago. Dr. Masand did my cavity refilling and was also very gentle. I was nervous because my first filling was painful, but this time was totally different.

I feel so blessed. I've been embarrassed to smile for years. My insurance finally kicked in on December 1st, so I called Federal Way Modern Dentistry. Samantha was so helpful when I scheduled. I met Jackie, who made me feel safe and slowly comfortable enough to take out my ugly broken partial. Jackie was on loan from Auburn—what a gift. Woke up in the middle of the night needing an emergency appointment first thing. So thankful I found Dr. Masand and this team! Everyone I met was outstanding—professional, reassuring, and caring. I hadn't established a dentist since moving from my childhood one, and they resolved my issue in less than 12 hours.
