I've been calling all morning and nobody is answering the phone. I have a unique situation and find it rude that I've left a message and nobody called back or is answering the phone since it shows that they are open today. I hope that I will get to change this review, but as of right now, this is disturbing.

Y'all... I'm irritated. Fort Wayne Smiles is getting some stars from me because they treated me well in the past. The hygienist, Cassie, is great. However... Dr. Reichwage retired. Congrats to him! I was supposed to have a cleaning in September. It was rescheduled, because the dentist who was buying the practice wasn't starting "until October". Fine. They rescheduled me for December, but he decided he was going to take off on the day I was scheduled for. Okay. They rescheduled me for January, and that was canceled because they were getting office renovations. They rescheduled me for March. As I drove to that appointment, I realized I hadn't received a confirmation call, and lo and behold, the office was closed when I got there. I left them two voicemails asking if I had the date wrong, or if I could reschedule. No one called me back. I finally moved forward with finding another dentist. I just had x-rays done. I have two cavities I need to get filled. It's been forever since I've had a cavity, and they said my teeth and gums looked great the last time I was at Fort Wayne Smiles. I can't say for sure that I wouldn't have had cavities if I hadn't missed my last three cleanings (they should have been in September, January, and now; Cassie had me on a frequent cleaning schedule because of gum pocket measurements), but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have. Now, of course, this new dentist gave me an exam but not a cleaning, and they don't have an opening for another 4 months. I understand that people retire, take off for holidays, etc. But I would have been way better off if they hadn't strung me along for the last year.

I recently moved up here few months ago and was needing to find dentist for cleaning that would also safely remove my mercury fillings. After looking at websites and reading reviews i went ahead and made appointment with Fort Wayne Smiles. They have done excellent job getting my teeth fixed and it’s been almost pain free which is huge plus. Dr. Reichwage is gentle on your mouth and has easy going personality. He has wonderful staff that show they care about you. I don’t dread going to dentist like few times in past.

I taken in consideration about any discomfort first. My gum was sore and the tool trying to be used was too uncomfortable, so a tooth covering was put on and another appointment was made to allow more time to do what is going to be necessary. I also was not charged for the time. I think I was focused on the paper work and forgot to say thank you.

I could not be more satisfied with the professionalism and encouragement that Fort Wayne Smiles offers! I’d like to tell everyone in Indiana, that even if you have to drive three or four hours to get there, these are the people to see in Fort Wayne. Tell them that Clint Johnson sent you! Cassie is my dental hygienist, and one of the kindest and sweetest ladies you’ll ever meet! Dr. Reichwage is great too! Call up and get an appointment today, and put Reed Road in your GPS! I would recommend this office to absolutely anyone! I am probably not the easiest patient, as I am a lazy toothbrushing person and do not probably take the best care of my teeth. I am so thankful for the kind and loving environment that Fort Wayne Smiles brings to the table! I could write you a 200 page novel on all the reasons they are awesome, but you know you want to go check them out yourself! This is a dental team that you can feel confident referring your loved ones and family too! Jesus says not to gossip in the Bible, but one thing you can feel confident spreading around to everybody, is that the dental experience at Fort Wayne Smiles is the best! I wrote a lot of this before but I will just say that this dental team goes above and beyond in every way to help ensure that we are safe and healthy even during these virus times. everyone should book an appointment with fort Wayne smiles today! They are the absolute best people! Anyone who puts up with me as a patient is amazing. I'm probably not the easiest patient. But they make it worthwhile, and they're always so caring and kind!
