This dental office in ON might be good if you're rich, but watch out for hidden fees. I wasn't told the Canadian Dental Care Plan wouldn't cover my hygienist appointment until after it was done. The receptionist cheerfully said I owed money, and I was floored—felt like a rip-off compared to my usual seamless visits.

I got my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday (something I've been holding off for too long) and my experience couldn't have been better. Everyone at Fortino Dental from the secretary to the nurse to the dentist were extremely kind and welcoming. I was in a bit of a rush the day of the extractions and forgot to brush my teeth (the one thing I should've remembered!) and the secretary kindly gave me a toothbrush and toothpaste before the procedure. The nurse was telling jokes the whole time and really made me feel at ease, walking me through everything clearly. I got IV sedation and was out like a light. Before I knew it the entire procedure was done and I was back home! Dr. Fortino did an excellent job on the extractions as well. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially for something that had been looming in my mind for so long. Highly highly recommend!
My 10 year old son is going through several dental corrections and Fortino dental has been absolutely AMAZING! The staff are all very helpful and welcoming.

I absolutely hated going to the Dentist because of how bad my teeth are but Dr. Fortino is the only dentist I've ever had that doesn't judge me and every appointment I leave happy, wishing I had been coming here my whole life. If you are very uncomfortable or nervous about visiting a dentist then go here because they take such good care by listening to your concerns and will do whatever they can to accommodate your needs. They are so good with OW/ODSP patients and they've fixed teeth that I thought for sure would get pulled. I can't express the feeling of going in so scared and anxious only to walk out feeling the biggest sense of relief both in my teeth and my mind. I've been to many different dentists and this is the only one I've gone back to on multiple occasions without hesitation because I always know my mouth is in good hands with Dr. Fortino and his awesome staff!!

From the secretary to the assistants, & the Dentist; even the feel & setting of the environment, everything was warm & inviting. They were amazing professionals at what they do, not to mention the respect & courtesy they showed me throughout my experience there. The Dentist, "Dr. Joseph Fortino" add to my positive experience by being down to earth while educating me about what needs to be done by giving me a better insight about my teeth. Most importantly, at the end of my appointment, his work ended up giving me an amazing smile. Great experience on every level. Fortino dental is hands down the best dental office I have been to, from the staff to the treatment provided you can tell their patients are their top priority. Their office is very modern, clean and they are always on time, all of the receptionists are always so sweet and welcoming and are happy to work around my schedule and clarify anything I have questions about! Both Dr Fortino’s and all of their staff and dentists are so knowledgeable, honest and friendly and every time I have had a procedure here I have had nothing but positive things to say. Due to COVID-19, I was a little hesitant about getting dental work done. I've been to Fortino Dental before and know how clean and professional they are, and this time it was no different. The staff is truly amazing from the moment you make your appointment to the moment you leave the office. I always hated going to the dentist, but Dr. Fortino and his staff make it so enjoyable and comfortable. Jen has been the lady who has taken care of me the past few times I've been there and she is amazing, she explains everything she is doing and always checks to make sure I'm doing okay during the procedure. Dr. Fortino himself, is very kind and provides you with many treatment options so you can choose the best fit for you. Lisa is such a sweetheart and is always there to help with appointment re-bookings or any questions I may have. I can truly say I have never felt more comfortable during my dental work then I do at Fortino Dental. Absolutely amazing team, the best of the best!
