Everyone here is absolutely wonderful! This was our 4th visit. The front desk ladies are always warm and welcoming. The dental assistants explain the treatment plan really well and we never feel rushed. The dentist is amazing—he's truly passionate about kids' dental health and is so kind with my child. He clearly loves what he does, and we're grateful. Can't say enough good things about this place for pediatric restorative care and exams.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Fun Dental 4 Kids
I drove 30 miles and pulled my child out of school for a scheduled appointment, only to find out upon arrival that there was an insurance issue because the primary insurance they had on file was no longer active. I understand issues happen, but I was never properly notified in a way that allowed me to fix it.
I was told the office “called once” the day before, but no voicemail was left. If a voicemail had been left, I would have immediately provided the active insurance information and my child would have still been seen. ( she said it takes them 24hrs to verify coverage).
Instead, we only found out at check-in after wasting time, gas, and a school day. There was no effort to resolve the issue, and I was told their policy is “one call and that’s it.”
I also sent a formal email to corporate management ( John Yoo ) about this issue and have not received any response. I was told the manager, Perla, would call me, but I never received a call back.
This was completely avoidable with basic communication. I will not be coming back to any Fun Dental 4 Kids for my child’s dental work.
Honestly, been bringing my daughter here since her first visit and it's been great. They don't push unnecessary stuff on the kids, which is huge. My 5-year-old used to be terrified of doctors and dentists, but now she actually looks forward to coming. The pediatric exams and cleanings are super gentle. If you're in South Gate, definitely check them out.

Really great experience at Fun 4 Kids Dental in South Gate. The staff was super professional and friendly, and they were so patient with my daughter. Came in for my daughter's routine appointment. We always show up early because they have a play area for the kids. The ladies working are super helpful and they called us in way before our appointment time. Definitely recommend bringing your kids here for their pediatric exams and cleanings—they even help adults too!

Had a really good experience. The dental assistant, Arely, was super professional and made the whole visit way smoother than I expected. She explained everything, checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and had such calm, positive energy. Normally the dentist isn't something I look forward to, but Arely made it feel easy and stress-free. She clearly cares about patients. Fun dental 4 kids is the perfect place you want to take your kids for a dentist. The hospitality of the team is great, they work together as a team for the kids. The dentist was amazing, very polite and extremely caring he explains very clearly as well as the assistants. If you end up not understanding what the dentist said… the assistants will explain very clearly and won’t get irritated if you don’t understand the first time.
Staff was friendly, efficient, and quick. The dentist is caring and gentle with kids. Everything from setting up the appointment to the actual procedures was easy. I'll keep recommending this location for pediatric exams and fillings.

Plenty of entertainment for the kids while you wait, but honestly the wait wasn't long at all. Beautifully decorated for the season. Since the first day, they open Fun dental for kids I’ve been bringing my two sons here honestly since they changed staff and doctor it’s been way better with the new staff and the new doctor Fernando.
