I visited Genesis Dentistry Dental Group for a 2nd opinion. I was told I need to remove my pre-molar and get an implant in from a cavity that had gone below my gum line. Dr. de la Vega took the time to evaluate my situation and gave me an alternate option. When it came time to the treatment, the Dr and her staff were phenomenal! I felt so comfortable during my root canal I actually fell asleep in the chair. I have been going to Genesis Dentistry since 2010 with Dr. Michelle de la Vega as my Dentist. I have referred some of my friends and we really like her service as well as her whole staff. She also has a list of very competent specialists/consultants. Whenever I have a scheduled cleaning/procedure, I allot extra time for our catch up chatting. Upon moving to the area, I found Genesis Dentistry online. They quickly got me in for my first cleaning and addressed some of the pending issues that I had to address from my previous care.
From the clarity in explaining the practical application of insurance, to the data driven care, I can honestly say I was impressed from my first visit. I was accustomed to years of being cycled through my dental appointments as if I was being given the "drive-thru carwash" experience, seldom understanding care decisions and even less of how my insurance was being used or applied. I can say with confidence that the team has given me a whole new standard of what dental health should be.
Lastly, I couldn't help but observe the way the office runs in a relaxed and intimate manner. It makes it truly feel like they care and want to provide treatment to their patients on both a personal and medical level.
