Dr Chang and his staff are thorough and a pleasure to work with. My only complaint is that when I receive bills in the mail, I have to call the office with a credit card to pay - or send a check, but that's so antiquated I don't even know where my checkbook is. It's not complicated to accept payment online, and after my last visit I almost ended up in collections because it took a few calls to get a person on the line to take my card. That's a big detractor for me; it's 2023.
Exceptional Dentist and support staff, we've been seeing Dr Chang now for 2 years and his staff goes out of their way to make us comfortable. I prefer the old method of cleaning w/o the Cavitron and they are great at working with me. I appreciate they are willing to deal with my insurer and all their requirements. Issues are explained clearly with the electronic x-rays. I highly recommend this team.
We are visitors from the UK, and my wife had a dental malfunction on the aircraft from Heathrow to Los Angeles late on a Friday evening. On the following Monday morning Dr Chang's office invited us to attend his surgery as soon as we called and 24 hour later, my wife's smile was completely restored, and we are completely confident that the advice given about further treatment on return to the UK is professionally totally sound. New to Palm Springs, I searched the internet for a well regarded dentist close to home. Dr. Chang was one of many, but none of the others had consistent five star ratings. I made an appointment and visited Dr. Chang's office today. From the initial encounter at the front desk to the interaction with the dental tech and the hygienist, the entire experience was thorough, professional and pleasant. Dr. Chang saw me at the end and reviewed the x-rays with me as well as the hygienist's findings. Each person communicated well and, for the first time in my experience in any dental or medical office, the charges were explained to me with an indication of what my insurance would cover and what it might not. I will definitely recommend Dr. Chang to other friends who are relocating here as well as those who may be seeking a different dentist.
I came to Dr. Chang after a bad experience with a Dentist in Palm Desert. He did a full set of x-rays for free and I got a fantastic cleaning from Cassi. He also did a great job reconstructing a damaged tooth. Definitely one of the best dentists I've been to ever.
I have received outstanding dental work from Dr. Chang and assistance from his hygienists and office staff. I've had a tooth pulled and a partial installed. Very clean and comfortable. The x-rays and technology are amazing parts of Dr. Chang's practice.

The first telephone contact to schedule an appointment makes you feel welcome. When you arrive all the office staff are friendly, helpful, skilled, and compassionate. After meeting Dr. Chang it is no wonder that he would have such a competent and gracious team as it is exactly how he is!
I have been going to Dr. Chang for over a year now and I always have great experience with him as my Dentist . Hi staff are all very friendly, helpful, cheerful and very professional in dealing with clients. I always enjoy getting my teeth cleaned because his dental hygienist(s) are always gentle and constantly making sure that you one is quite comfortable.
