Waiting room is fun and interactive. And the entire staff is incredible with kids. They keep them calm, comfortable and at ease the entire time. Even during surgeries and cavity fillings. It's really special to see. Their sedation dentistry and fillings for children in Grimes are amazing.

I was really nervous about taking my 18 month old for her first dentist visit, but I had nothing to worry about! This clinic is made for kids! All of the staff is soooo friendly, and Dr. Barnard is not just professional and knowledgeable, but also kind and gentle with little ones.
we just love this place. the front desk, the hygienists, and Dr nick are all so so kind, understanding, and knowledgeable! we moved out of grimes, but will travel a little extra to continue to take our kids here!

This practice is awesome. My 5 year old felt excited when we walked inside. They have lots of different games and toys to make the experience less scary for kids. I appreciated the way the dental assistant spoke to my son and still efficiently got his cleaning done. I was able to be with him the entire time and when the doctor noticed a few things he made sure to speak to me as well before doing any procedures.
I was introduced to Dr. Nick 3 years ago after being with one of the chain pediatric dental practices in town, and haven’t looked back. Dr. Nick is so great with the kids, his staff is amazing and he has all the amenities to make going to the dentist fun. My kids never complain about going to the dentist. Win - win!
My 4 kids and I recently made our first visit to the office after moving from across the state and we were very impressed. I appreciated being able to fill out all the forms digitally in advance of the appointment, so when we arrived there was no paperwork. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and our appointment started right on time. The hygienists were very kind and skilled at adapting their care for each of my kids, from the hesitant 2 year old to my confident 8 year old. Dr. Nick made each of my kids feel comfortable and shared educational info about each child’s unique dentition that I had never heard from our previous dentists. By the end of the visit my kids said they were looking forward to their next visit in 6 months! I’m confident my kids are receiving excellent, child-centered dental care here and would strongly recommend Grimes Pediatric Dentistry.

This pediatric dentistry is beyond amazing and clean! The staff from the moment you walk in is welcoming. Cute and playful waiting area with coloring table, interactive dance/game floor & even super hero capes for little ones who are afraid and need a little something to be brave. Dr. Nick is playful with the kids. Totally engages with them and makes sure they are comfortable while walking my kids and even myself through the entire appointment. Highly recommend for pediatric dental exams and fillings for children in Grimes!

The waiting room had a good movie and a cool interactive game for the kids. Made waiting easy, but we didn't have to wait long! The hygienist was great with my two boys and helped keep them relaxed and the mood light. The dentist was efficient and got us in and out, and answered all my questions.
