These folks at Grover Dental Care in Hayden really care. They fit me in fast when I had a bad toothache needing antibiotics. The elevator was out, and since I'm in a wheelchair, Dr. Grover and Barb came right outside to check my tooth, gave me a prescription, and set up a root canal. As a former dental assistant, I know good work—he's one of the best emergency dental service providers in the city. Highly recommend them.

Beware try not to talk to Tanya on Accounts. She is all excuses. Never willing to help. Trying to blame it to someone else. first time happen to me Im like maybe lets givem a chance. Second time not fair. All her excuse is they have so many patients that is fine but never willing to help. So if you got a problem with accounts do not talk to her talk to someone else.

They rip people off stay away from this place. They will tell you theres no additional cost and then when you go to front desk they will charge you more than what was agreed upon initially. Never go to this place.

Went to Grover Dental Care in Hayden for a second opinion after my wife had years of tooth pain that root canals and other treatments didn't fix at her old dentist. Went here once, it was an awful experience. To summarize quickly, they charged my husband double what was quoted for his teeth.
Now they will NOT stop calling, texting, and leaving voicemails for us to come in for a cleaning. Stop soliciting, and just accept that your bad customer service cost you a client!

Today I had an appointment and telling me we have a balance back in 2024 which is September 2025 now. We go regularly and telling me that my wife had a filling last year and told her it is fully covered now they said secondary did not pay that. They told me they been sending statements but we did not get any. Out of the sudden we got a balance?

I am writing this on behalf of my brother-in-law, who left this office in tears after how he was treated. He had made it clear that he struggles with dental anxiety and requested privacy. The first dentist who saw him was absolutely wonderful—kind, respectful, quiet, and considerate. She made sure the door was closed and that he felt comfortable.
Unfortunately, when Dr. Whig came in for extractions, the experience changed drastically. He accused my brother-in-law of using meth recreationally—an unfounded and inappropriate accusation. On top of that, the door was left open, and the chair was turned so that people outside could look in, stripping away any sense of dignity or privacy.
My brother-in-law is a good person who does not use drugs. But even if he did, no patient deserves to be treated with such disrespect, judgment, and lack of compassion—especially in a medical setting where vulnerability is already high.
Dental visits are already difficult for those with anxiety, and this experience was unnecessarily humiliating and damaging. I am truly disgusted with the way Dr. Whig treated him and would never recommend him to anyone. ALL patients deserve kindness, privacy, and respect—not public shaming or accusations.

I had a new hygienist named Matthew who was super friendly and efficient, and I appreciated how painless he made the gum measurement process when I’ve had negative experiences with it in the past. The dentist Dr. Whig actually spent time with me to discuss my tooth health and answer my questions, which was great.
