Brought my granddaughter to see Dr. Sheu today. After a bad experience at her previous dentist, I knew she'd be better off here. My daughter recently visited the office for dental treatment, and Dr. Sheu kindly removed the black stain caused by the silver diamine fluoride completely free of charge. First of all Thank you Dr.Sheu and her wonderful staff ❤️! My family and son feel highly blessed we were able to find a local dentist that would help our son. Hacienda Pediatric Dentistry really changed the game for us. My son is on the spectrum and for years going to the dentist was such a challenge for him. Dr.Sheu talks both to parents and patient and really made my son feel safe. I don't have to struggle with him coming to the clinic at all infact he says "Mommy I love my dentist please keep her forever!" He receives treatment without harsh restraints, or any non sense other dentist unfortunately put us through. Here he goes in calmly and gets to watch a favorite show while his treatment is going on. Again I can not thank Dr. Sheu enough and really recommend this dentist office for your child you will not regret it.

This dental office was way too busy to give personal and good care to my son. Our first visit was not comfortable because they forced my 13-month son to lay down without comforting and distracting him. Instead, they kept saying, your baby will cry. It was not a comfortable experience for a new parent. In addition, I rejected cleaning for the first visit. They claimed that visit as a consultation instead of preventative care, which means my insurance only covered a portion of it. I believe the dentists are professional there. It's just the overall communication, customer service, and room for negotiation that led us to leave. But they are in good business, so losing one or two customers who value personal care the most is okay to them.

Once a child becomes an established patient, we proceed with routine preventive care, which is then billed accordingly to your insurance. We bill in a standard fashion similar to all other specialty offices and we’re happy to discuss any specific questions with you. We recently visited Hacienda Pediatric Dentistry, and I can't say enough good things about our experience. My son had an adult tooth growing behind his baby teeth, and Dr. Sheu recommended removing the two front baby teeth to make room for the adult tooth. From start to finish, the entire staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and made my son feel completely comfortable. The process of removing the teeth took about 20-30 minutes, and they made it so smooth for my son. They even placed the teeth in a cute little container, which my son thought was awesome!
Before we left, he received a golden token to use in a fun twist machine, which was such a clever idea to make the visit memorable. He ended up getting a Rubik's cube and absolutely loves it! The entire experience was stress-free, and I couldn’t be more thankful for how well they took care of my son. Highly recommend this dental office for anyone with kids!
So incredibly amazing with Dr. Sheu! My son is 2 1/2 and he is so impatient. Dr. Sheu inspected my son’s teeth in the most careful and wonderful manner. She described and showed him the tools and he eventually opened his mouth to show off his teeth. He did not cry or try to run away. He received his prize at the end and walked out with a smile.

Excellent dentist! Wonderful with kids! This is the second time my daughter has to have a dental procedure done and has had Nitrous Oxide administered. Dr. Sheu and her staff were excellent at providing all the information I needed to make me feel more comfortable about having Nitrous Oxide administered to my daughter. I’m very satisfied with the results. I’m so glad to have found a dentist/staff that are great with children. I will continue to bring both of my daughters here for any dental work they may need. I highly recommend!!
Dr. Sheu and her assistant are so patient and so nice ! My one year old daughter had her first dentist visit last Friday, she was scared and crying at the beginning, but Dr.Sheu and her assistant were so nice and give her a little duck to calm her down. They also explain all the details about teeth protection from now on. Really recommend Dr. Sheu as your kid’s best dentist !
So glad I found Dr. Sheu! I took my 5-year-old to another pediatric dentist in Diamond Bar before, and they struggled with X-rays and cleanings. They said he had a cavity but couldn't treat it. Been taking my daughter to Dr. Sheu since she was 12 months old—she's 2.5 now. She's normally scared at the doctor, but at the dentist she comes out with hardly any tears. Dr. Sheu is great with kids, the facility has toys and cartoons, and she gets a toy and balloon afterward. She won't stop talking about it! Great place for pediatric dental care in Hacienda Heights.
