I attended Hamilton Mountain dental group to find out about getting a root canal with Dr. Ryan Margel. When I arrived, the office was extremely chaotic and upsetting with children running in circles through the doors and into the office and around to the other side. It was so stressful and loud with parents, yelling and children, screaming and laughing that I had to go wait out side for my appointment. The staff at the front desk knew I had to leave, but they took no action to stop the behaviour and actually participated in encouraging the kids to behave this way. When I finally made it into see the doctor I was told I needed to root canals and some crowns. Based on the stressful atmosphere of the clinic, I didn’t feel like I could relax for such an anxiety provoking experiences having a root canal there. So I went for a second opinion at Ancaster endodontics and it turns out I don’t need root canals at all! And I don’t have a crack in my tooth like I was told either I just have crazing. So thank God, I went for a second opinion based on the crazy atmosphere in the office. This place might be good for kids, but if you need serious dental work as an adult, I would not go here.
