Hands down the best dentist in Deer Park! The staff is super friendly and accommodating—you really get to know them after a while. Dr. Handelman is the cherry on top: professional, kind, understanding, and always explains everything upfront, including costs. I'm typically anxious about dental visits, but he knows that and goes out of his way to make me feel at ease. Over 20 years now, and every procedure—whether it's a simple cleaning or cosmetic work—has been top quality. Couldn't ask for more.

My best friend recently went to this office. She has a fear of the dentist and told the hygienist. She came home crying because the hygienist was rough and lacked sympathy. When my friend said she was scared, the hygienist just said 'same.' The doctor was amazing, but the hygienist really let her down.

Most knowledgeable dentist and best hygienist I've ever found—and I'm 42, so I've seen a few lol. The office staff are friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a great dentist in Deer Park, look no further! Dr. Handelman is truly one of the best. Another dentist wanted to pull a tooth and put in a flipper, but Dr. Handelman gave a different opinion and my tooth is fine now. He also helped with my teeth grinding at night. Amazing, seriously.

After bad experiences elsewhere, I can confidently say he's extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares. No pressure at all—he presented options and let me decide. Ended up getting 2 implant-supported crowns recently and couldn't be happier with how they look. He's got 30 years of experience and knows exactly what he's doing. Highly recommend him for any dental needs.

Worst place ever. Staff is rude and unprofessional—you walk in and they're gossiping about other patients, then keep talking about personal stuff in the treatment room. Dr. Samuel was very unprofessional. She referred my son to Island Orthodontics for a full mouth x-ray, but when I brought the x-rays back, she didn't know what to do with them and started yelling at me. I had to remind her she made the referral. Totally unacceptable.

My sister, dad, and I all went to Dr. Handelman's office recently for some dental work. The whole team is polite and respectful—really professional. Dr. Handelman even chatted about how his nephew went to my school, which was cool. You can tell he genuinely cares. The office is neat and tidy, and after my cleaning I got a little bag with a toothbrush and floss. The receptionist was polite and funny too. Honestly, you won't be disappointed here.
