This place is awesome for kids' dental care. I came here on a friend's recommendation, and now I tell everyone about it. The doctors are wonderful, and the staff is so kind. They're always accommodating—even when something urgent comes up, they squeeze you in. Dr. Sukhmani is the best; she gave my son the most beautiful smile. Honestly, I love bringing my boys here! Even after moving to Spanaway, I still drive all the way to Federal Way because they're just that good. They really listen and answer all my questions. My youngest has a sensory disorder, and they're so gentle with him—they take everything I say seriously. The pediatric dentistry team here is amazing. Definitely worth the drive!

My son is 17 months old and has been here for two visits. Both times, the staff was helpful, friendly, and quick. They go above and beyond to make it a good experience. I do agree with other reviews that they should have more books for older kids in the waiting room—we love the selection for little ones, but felt bad for the older kids. Thanks!

I visited a children’s dental clinic yesterday, and it was a generally good experience. The staff were kind, and the dentist was outstanding, explaining everything clearly. I did notice, though, that the building is quite old. The toys were mostly suited for very young children, around 3 or 4 years old, so my 11-year-old son had a long wait without much to do. I believe that if the clinic could add more entertainment options—like digital games or a wider range of toys—especially for older kids, it would really make a difference. Also, the waiting area outside felt a bit cramped. I think with a few thoughtful upgrades and some more space, this could be an even more inviting place for kids and families.

Absolutely amazing! Every staff member is so kind and patient. My daughter had major anxiety about the dentist, but they were so gentle and calm. Sahara was especially wonderful—she took her time, made my daughter feel safe, and even gave her a balloon animal! Dr. Gio is great too—he listens and explains everything. My friend recommended this dentistry for my toddlers first appointment. We had such a great experience! The playroom is adorable, loved all the pops of color. He played with toys in the playroom and was handed toys in the dental chair haha so he was happy and distracted.
The assistants were so patient with him and they played and talked with him gently. Dr.Douglas was also very gentle, polite and patient and didn’t rush my toddlers cooperation either. He answered the questions I had and overall really cared about our son.
A great experience overall :D I definitely recommend Dr.Douglas and his staff’s clinic Happy Kids Dentistry and Orthodontics.
