Went to Dr. Hart years ago in Desert Hot Springs—big mistake. He did a root canal on my front tooth, got infected, and instead of fixing it, he drilled through my gum. Now the post broke off and is moving toward my nasal cavity. I'm in constant pain and need oral surgery. Avoid this place at all costs.

Was a patient of Dr. Hart's in Desert Hot Springs before I moved. I wish I could've finished my treatment there. Had a traumatic childhood dentist experience, but Dr. Hart was incredibly understanding. Planning to move back and hope my teeth aren't worse. He's the only dentist I trust for family dentistry.

I would advise EVERYONE to not come up in any of these Medi-cal offices expecting total PERFECTION. I don’t like waiting either, but we have to be patient, in order for these people to make a profit, these offices must have a good volume of patients so yes chances are there will be a substantial wait time involved, but as someone who’s been to like 90% of the other clinics I can tell you Dr. Hart is BEYOND fair and respectful and I’ve personally witnessed him treating all different kinds of patients EQUALLY, with the same dignity and respect we are all entitled to. The people with the negative reviews were likely disrespectful and he may have dished it back, but after being to dozens of dentist office from Coachella to Cats City, Palm Springs, all over Riverside County, I can tell you this is AS GOOD AS IT GETS. He’s giving discounts while others are ripping off unsuspecting customers cuz they think cuz you got a decent vehicle, it justifies ripping you off. I’m not an employee nor am I being paid to write this. I just wish someone had pointed me in the right direction from the getgo, and that is all I am trying to do for others as a grateful patient of Dr. Hart. One thing to keep in mind is that this dentist came recommended by staff from a top notch pricey dentist office in Palm Springs, they know some of us can’t afford their services and basically they recommend him due to his reputation amongst other dentists & the consistent satisfaction of returning patients. Thank you (and your team) sir for providing upstanding service, bless you all.

Dr. Hart and his staff in Desert Hot Springs are amazing. I've always been nervous at the dentist, but he's quick and gentle. The crown he made looks totally natural—best tooth in my mouth! Julie, Michelle, and everyone are awesome. Highly recommend for cosmetic dentistry.

First visit to Hart Family Dental in Desert Hot Springs was a mess. Waited over an hour past my appointment with no apology. Dr. Hart was rude, complained about staff in front of me, and spent maybe two minutes looking in my mouth. Scheduled a second visit thinking it might be better, but I'm not hopeful.

They burned my mouth terribly. Dentures have never fit—haven't had solid food in 7 months, lost 40 pounds. Yesterday they caused burns and were off by half an inch. When I complained, he started to call me a name. Also swallowed blood during extraction, vomited for hours. A piece of tooth got lodged in my throat. Horrible.

The lady who did my fillings in Desert Hot Springs drilled way too long. It was uncomfortable. She said I'd be able to chew solid food in a week, but almost a year later, I still can't chew on my left side without pain. Terrible job on the fillings.

My fiancé went to Hart Family Dental in Desert Hot Springs. He didn't even meet Dr. Hart until the third visit. They cracked a tooth during a filling—new x-rays show a huge crack. Now he's in so much pain he can barely eat. And they were rude about it. Don't go here.

I went to this dentist with one problem tooth. He recommended fillings in 5 other teeth and I agreed because I trusted him as a dentist. He did the fillings in March and I've been in terrible pain ever since. One tooth he filled went necrotic and abscessed -- I paid another dentist out of pocket for a root canal because the tooth was close to front. Now another tooth he filled, a molar, is necrotic and abscessed and I can't afford another root canal, so I'm going to lose the tooth. I sent a complaint to the dental board in hopes that they might be able to prevent him from damaging anyone else.

Rude and dangerous. My exam was so rough I was sore for five hours. I have excellent teeth—only two cavities ever—and he left me bleeding. No water to rinse. He yelled at a staff member in front of everyone. Drove 46 miles for a cleaning and they never even mentioned it was just an exam. Avoid.
