Had an appointment set for months, then they call me at 4pm the day before to cancel and say next opening is March. Already took off work for a routine cleaning in Raeford, NC. Really unprofessional to cancel less than 24 hours out. Not coming back.

Got fillings done here about two years ago, and they fell out the next day on my birthday. The receptionist was rude and tried to make me pay for a visit when their systems were down. Not a good experience with cosmetic dentistry in Raeford. 0/5.

My hygienist, Melissa, is excellent. She is also my sister, but that’s not the reason I say she is excellent. I have been a dental client of many different practices over the years and have had a wide variety of experiences with hygienists. Experience makes a huge difference and I have 100% confidence that I am getting the best care possible, as are my grandchildren who are also patients at Hometown Family Dental. If you can get past the challenge of some of the office staff who go out of their way to be rude and unhelpful, you will be pleased with the professional staff who provide the actual care to the patients.

Went in for a tooth extraction and was extremely nervous. The assistant and the dentist himself calmed me down and both were extremely nice, courteous, and very professional. My last dentist was a hard case and never explained anything he was doing with me and the two teeth I had extracted by him left me in severe pain and agony for three to four consecutive days and it was because he was always in a rush and just yanked them out basically. But this dentist took his time and wiggled the tooth loose and then took it on out and I never experienced any pain and even in the days following, I never experienced any pain Iike I had before with my previous dentist. It's now a week later and the site has healed perfectly with no complications besides some soreness. I am extremely satisfied and the staff and services provided are great! Kind, friendly, courteous, and very professional! Except for the hispanic receptionist who schedules appointments and is rude and speaks in a very hateful and condescending manner. Otherwise, I would highly recommend to anyone in search of a dentist.

If you have a child that's afraid of the dentist or fidgety they have a very helpful staff here that is great with kid's. I bring my 11 year old and 4 year old here. The 4 year old just had a tooth pulled without being sedated and uncooperative because the dentist and the other staff members was so patient with him. They love to see those ladies when they go.

This is my second experience with HFDC. The fist was a 5 star experience. This second, not so much. Mainly due to the volume of the television in the lobby. When I asked to lower the volume I was told it was impossible due as it is part of the center's privacy effort. According to the Hispanic lady at checkout if the volume was lower then all conversation at their desk can be heard. An easy fix for this is for the owner to put in acoustic panels to absorb the sound on the inside of the reception checkout area. Amazon has them by the carton for low cost. I'm leaving the center today with a headache due to my kids 3 appointments being stretch out instead of all at once as originally scheduled and being subjected to high level of noise the entire time.

Been coming here for 9 years. Dr. Hastings and Casey are wonderful. They squeezed me in last minute today. Casey explained everything, which helps because I'm always nervous. My family comes too, and our kids leave with a smile every time. Ms. Yani spent all day on the phone with insurance without complaining. Best staff in Raeford, NC!

After waiting 4 months for an appointment, the front desk receptionist had such an awful attitude towards our family of four that we left prior to being seen. She was actively playing a game on her phone, and was inconvenienced by setting up our first time appointment.
