Annie, the hygienist at Dr. Matt's office in Syosset, is absolutely wonderful. She's super skilled, gentle, and patient. My wife and I have been seeing her for years—maybe 20 or even 30 years now. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Matt for 46 years. He is the BEST dentist around. We travel an hour to get to his office. That should say a lot. I am the biggest baby when I have to get work done. He keeps me calm and gets me through it. He also has a wonderful staff. Always there for you. We love you Dr Matt and staff.

Dr. Howard is the best dentist I've ever been to—definitely sticking with him from now on. I had a bond on my front tooth that chipped, and his staff told me to come in ASAP because they understood it was an emergency. He was kind, made me feel comfortable, and wasn't judgmental at all. He was conservative about treatment and didn't push anything for more money. He took his time making sure the shaping of my tooth was perfect. He fixed all the issues I had with prior bonding, and I don't think anyone could have done a better job. Also, his wife who works there was great too.

Updated review after visit on 6/4/2024: As always - visiting Dr. Howard Matt’s office - I feel like I’ve reconnected with longtime friends. I had my cleaning with hygienist Annie - her professionalism, thoroughness, and kindness are beyond measure. I didn’t need to see Dr. Matt during this visit, but I did see him in the corridor and it was wonderful to see him. Something I would like to mention is that I actually saw Dr. Matt in the parking lot helping a patient who wasn’t able to make it up the stairs. He goes above and beyond - and is a gift to the community.
Updated review after visit on 3/28/2023 and another couple of visits over the past couple of months: As is quite obvious through my past feedback in other reviews - you would be hard pressed to find a better dental practice on all of Long Island! Our teeth and gums are so very important - throughout all of our lives, but even more so as the aging process continues. I am deeply grateful for all in Dr. Howard Matt’s office and encourage anyone who wants an excellent dentist to set up an appointment right now. You will not be disappointed!
Updated review after visit on 9/23/2022: I can’t say enough about Dr. Howard Matt! I had to make an emergency visit today and am beyond grateful that he was immediately able to make the time to see me. He took care of the issue I had with a tooth and eliminated the pain I was feeling by filing a back tooth that was aggravated by clenching due to stress. Mary Ellen was able to arrange this emergency visit with Dr. Matt and I am truly awed by the professionalism and kindness of Dr. Matt and all the staff in his dental practice. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Matt to one and all - a better dentist you will never find!

First, let me say that Dr. MATT made me feel so comfortable because you know when you go to a dentist office there’s always that feeling Of fear of how long and how painful is this going to take? He immediately explained all the different options of how to take care of my vast amount of dental problems. I have never met a dentist that could make somebody feel so Eddie before and I am 73 years old. I cannot believe how he made me feel so At ease with my situation, I would highly recommend anybody and everybody to come to this office for their dental needs

I've Always Been nervous about going to dentist, however dr Matt and his staff make me feel at ease. Been going to him since he started. His work is flawless and I would recommend him very highly.
