Dealing with their billing has been a nightmare. You have to call to get a payment link, which you can't do at night or on weekends. When I called, their system was down, so I asked them to send the link later—never got it. Then months later, they sent my account to collections! Unfriendly business practices. If you're a pediatric dentist in Huntington Station, you should know your clients have busy lives.

Brought both my sons to Huntington Smiles in Huntington Station for their first dental visit and honestly, it was amazing! The place is super kid-friendly with video games, an interactive table, and cool alien/space decor everywhere. The staff was incredibly nice, and my kids—ages 4.5 and 15 months—had a blast. My oldest said he “loves the dentist” now, which says it all. 10/10!

A child who likes going to the dentist says it all. Now having a secured , reliable, clean office to take my first born and now my second born who has started to show teeth is great. The receptionist very welcoming. Doctors are amazing with the help of the lovely hygienist/assistance . A smile does goes a long way at Huntington Smiles!

I used to be very HAPPY with this dental and had recommended it to many friends and family. But after our most recent visit, I will NOT RETURN.
My daughter needed a crown extraction because of infection, and I had confirmed an appointment with Dr. Rod Blasco in person. He asked me to come back because he was busy that day, so we scheduled the extraction for the following Tuesday. That day, I also booked a simple teeth cleaning for my son.
After check-in, we were told my son needed an X-ray first. I clearly stated that if the X-ray wasn’t essential for cleaning, we’d skip it. From that moment, the experience went DOWNFALL. The staff became visibly unhappy. My son was left waiting for nearly 50 minutes while the hygienist helped other patients. When the dentist finally arrived, she spoke to me in a demanding tone and emotionally insisted on an X-ray. I politely declined again and signed the waiver as requested—but she continued to press me even after I agreed.
When my son's teeth cleaning finally began, I was shocked: it only took less than a minute. The hygienist flossed only once between two teeth and barely brushed the front surfaces before calling it done. The same hygienist had done an excellent job on my daughter just a week earlier. Was this rushed, unprofessional cleaning really because I declined the X-ray?
To make the experience worse, even though I had confirmed my daughter’s appointment with Dr. Rod Blasco in person, when it was time for her extraction (after anesthesia was already administered), I was told the doctor had changed. No prior notice was given, and my only option was to rebook. I just had to let her do it. 1 minute to finish the anesthesia shot, 15-20 minutes to wait for the anesthesia to be worked, and 2 minutes to finish the extract. I didn’t get why I couldn't do it the first time when I was scheduled for it.
The entire visit was full of mistreatment, emotion, lack of respect and unprofessionalism. This time it completely disappointed me.

During the appointment, my son was understandably nervous and refused to lie on the chair. While I was actively trying to calm him down and help him cooperate, one of the staff members proceeded to brush his teeth without giving me any notice or asking for my consent. I was then told to hold him down while this was happening.
This experience was upsetting for both me and my son. I would have appreciated being consulted first and being given the chance to help manage the situation in a gentler and more collaborative way. As a parent, it’s very important to me that my child feels safe and respected during healthcare visits, and that I am part of the decision-making process.
I hope this feedback can be taken seriously so that future interactions with young patients and their families are handled with greater care and communication.

Fun themed decor, techy games in the waiting room, and photo props—kids don't feel like they're at the doctor. I've been bringing my son with special needs here for years, and the entire staff is phenomenal! They're kind, patient, and innovative. They've turned a scary appointment into a quick, pleasant visit every time. Highly recommend to any family, regardless of needs. Grateful for this office!

What a great pediatric dentist in Huntington Station! The staff was super friendly. I brought all 4 of my boys (ages 1 to 7) for their 10am appointments, and it went smoothly—no chaos at all. They even did a cavity filling in under an hour. In and out quickly, and the dentist was kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. So glad we found this place!

A very friendly and inviting environment. My kids did not want to leave the office even after their appointment. Definitely a great way to distract from something that scares most children. The actual cleaning is done very quickly and my son (4) had his first set of X-rays which were so quick and easy, nothing like what I remember as a kid and even adult. They answer any questions you have about your children’s teeth, mouth and development. We were in and out in 20 minutes!

Love this place! It reminds me of the dentist I went to as a kid—completely kid-centered and friendly. My son has been coming for 4 years, my daughter for almost a year, and they love it. No fear, just smiles. The staff is kind to both parents and kids, and the hygienists treat kids like real patients. Ceiling TVs are a nice distraction. I've also used their emergency dental service, and they were super accommodating.

I've been taking my daughters to Huntington Smiles in Huntington Station since 2020, and I've always been happy with the care. The assistants, hygienist, and dentist are all very friendly and patient. They offered nitrous oxide sedation for a cavity refill, which really helped. Easy to find with plenty of parking in Huntington Station. The office is clean and super kid-friendly. I loved everything—from the decor to the service. Very professional. My kids loved it! The waiting room has iPads and Nintendo, plus an adult waiting area. Front desk staff is friendly. Dental rooms are clean, and you can watch TV while getting treatment. Wish these guys were around when I was a kid! We'll be back in 6 months. Definitely recommend!
