Getting a first appointment can be a bit of a wait, like a month. But once you're an established patient, they're really good about getting you in. Staff is friendly and professional. Place is super clean—I've seen them mopping and wiping down baseboards. My favorite thing is they have gas in-clinic and you can stay with your kid during procedures. We've been going for 3 years. I have kids and grandkids and I trust Imperial Kids Dental in El Centro for all their dental exams and cleanings.

If I could give zero stars I would. Took my daughter for a front baby tooth extraction. I consented to numbing gel, laughing gas, all that. The assistant didn't even wait 10 minutes to check if she was numb. Dr. King went right in with zero empathy. My daughter has high pain tolerance, but I made it clear I wanted minimal pain. She's 5, never had a cavity, and they ordered an extraction. Really upset with the sedation dentistry experience here.

The dental assistant was nothing professional when attending my daughter .. while she was assisting the doctor kept on talking about her personal life ,laughing and being loud not being respectful to my daughter being in pain with the procedure.
Took my son for his first dental visit and was nervous. But the X-ray tech, dental assistant, and Dr. King were all kind, patient, and gentle. They made him feel comfortable and he left happy—zero fear of the dentist! 10/10 for pediatric dental exams in El Centro.

Very bad experience today the dr that my son was seen by has absolutely no patience with kids, my son was very nervous and it seems like the laughing gas didn’t work and maybe she didn’t put enough local anesthesia either so he kept moving and saying that it hurted so I asked her if he was in pain and she got mad she told me several times that he was misbehaving and didn’t let her do her job and kept blaming him she was rude to him overall, at the end she said he had to stop moving or she would’ve to send him to San Diego so they could put him to sleep cause they don’t do that and I said well I don’t think he is going to be able to behave today and she got up and left very mad, I mean I know he didn’t work with her but I don’t think is the only kid that has that kind of reaction and is her job to know what to do and cannot have that kind of behavior towards patients I forgot to ask her name but is a lady with freckles and green eyes she seemed very nice the first visit when it was easy but today was the second visit and I was totally disappointed
Only giving 2 stars because the doctor was sweet to my daughter. Showed up at 10:20 for a 10:30 appointment and waited until 11:10 to ask when we'd be seen. A lady in black said they were waiting for a room with a door. Then she came back unprovoked to say we came 30 minutes early (we came 10 minutes early). Not our fault we waited an hour. Really frustrating wait time.

First visit with my 8-year-old and wow, Dr. King is awesome. My child was happy and comfortable, ready to get her fillings because Dr. King reassured her. All staff from reception to assistants were amazing. 100% recommend for pediatric fillings in El Centro.

I love Imperial Kids Dental!!! All the staff and Doctor's are wonderful. Dr. King is the only full-time pediatric dentist in the entire Imperial Valley. So grateful she decided to come to the Valley. For years we had to go out to San Diego to seek dental care for my little ones. Thank you Dr. King and Staff!!!
I was looking for a good place to take my kids to the dentist. I feel lucky to have found this place. The front staff were very nice and very friendly. The dentist was super awesome! He took the time to build rapport with my daughter by asking her about her interests.
The staff are caring and understanding of my childrens' special needs and allowed me to be with them as needed. I felt reassured and they explained every procedure to me. My girls didn't have such great experiences in the past with dental visits, which left them traumatized.
My youngest was reluctant to go through the exams but, little by little, she started to feel better. Skarlett was beyond amazing with her and that made a huge difference. She took the time(even though I know they were very busy) to talk to my daughter and related to her by asking her questions that helped calm her down. She also helped by allowing us to borrow a nose piece(for the nitrous) to prepare for our next appointment. We got to take home a bag of dental goodies and got to choose prizes from the treasure chest after we were all done.

As a mom of 3, I completely loved this place . Imperial Dental Kids . They have amazing , great, kind , and attentive staff. They are welcoming. I went there because I felt like my children needed more attention than they were getting at their previous dentist & I am glad I Made that step to change dentist , service does not even compare . I totally recommend going here . My children get excited to finish their visit because they also have a surprise present treasure chest which they get to choose a present from , and its little details like this . That you just don’t find anywhere else . Will continue taking my children here .
Truly awesome staff. They always do a great job with my daughter. She was really nervous her first time going to the dentist, and made sure to orient her to the equipment and tools. They were very kind and professional. The atmosphere is kid friendly as well and very clean.
Today was the 1st time my four-year-old went to see a dentist. I was terrified because of my past experience when my other children went to see a dentist for the 1st time This was a completely different experience the staff is amazing the dentist is amazing and it went very smooth. Had such a great experience with my 3 kids. Arrived 15 minutes early and they were seen right away. Staff was sweet and caring with my kids ages 5-9. My 5-year-old was scared but by the end she loved the dentist. My oldest needed cavities filled on her bottom molars and they did it the same day instead of scheduling another appointment. Lobby is clean and the treatment area is modern. Love this place for pediatric dental care in El Centro.

It was my daughter's first time going to the dentist. My daughter has special sensory needs and I was very nervous about taking her to get a check up. The office was very comfortable and the staff was wonderfully nice. They had extra perks like the TVs including one in the ceiling blankets and headphones. They had special techniques to working with children that I didn't even know about. They had my daughter recline back and I held her while they examined her teeth. They were extremely professional. The doctor and assistant were perfect. I honestly can't imagine taking my daughter anywhere else after this. They made the experience enjoyable, comfortable, and took away all my worries. If you're thinking about going to a dentist for your child I would suggest imperial kids dental a thousand times over. Don't look anywhere else
The staff is always friendly and proffessional. Dr. King is amazing with my 3 and 4 year old. She has great rapport with them and takes the time to explain things and answer all my questions. They also have a treasure chest for after each visit. The office is clean, beautiful, and kid-friendly. Even after having a tooth pulled out my daughter still loves her "doctor friend". I 100% reccomend taking your children there.
Very impressed with dr King and the staff of imperial kids dental. My daughter has autism and they took extra time going over everything with her. Helped her understand what everything was and what it did. Amazingly patient with her! Office was super clean definitely catered around children! Giant tvs in front of the chairs with kids movies. Very efficient! First time going just went for a check up but will definitely be going back! My daughter is excited to go back in 6 months!!!
