Dr Jeannette Daneals is Amazing. She's kind, supportive, funny and also brilliant/ full of medical knowledge. And, if you are afraid of needles, she will somehow make you feel at ease. It was my first eboo experience but it had a lasting effect.
I've been going to Integrative Dentistry for many years, and I would not go anywhere else. IE: Friday the 13th (3 days ago) I somehow managed to break a crown eating a cookie. This was not an emergency to me, so I left a voice message. First thing on Monday the 16th I received a text asking if I could come in at 930am. I arrived and Dr Birrer took a look at my broken crown. He asked it I could stay so he could remove the remaining half of the crown, make a new crown and premanently place it.
Now, I know what your thinking - no dental team can do that in 1 visit. Integrative Dentistry can with Dr Birrer heading the team. This is holistic dental care at its finest! All the equipment is on site and everyone works together, making my experience a great one! (Office staff quickly confirm my insurance requirements and received authorization for the plan to repair the damage. Dr Birrer's assistant takes the x-ray to insure my root is stable, and sets up everything needed.) The replacement crown's shape is created as Dr Birrer, using an instrument the size of a pen, transmittes data into a very special machine. The 3D image is instantly able to be viewed right next to me. It takes only 30 minutes for the crown to be created. The test fitting is done and the crown is permanently installed. I walk out with my tooth repaired in less than 3 hours. No messy mold was needed. No waiting for a lab to receve a mold, make a crown and ship it back. No return trips for fittings or placement. And, as a holistic dental team, I am not exposure to chemicals or a toxic environment! My statement does not give credit to Dr Birrer for his education, time and skill to treat each patient. He cares about every person he treats, the environment in and out of the office, and those fortunate to be on his team.

Their talent and dentistry skills are worlds apart from what I experienced in my past. How did I find this office? I asked a neuro surgeon who she used for dental care. Her answer - Integrative Dentistry is her family's go to for routine cleaning and any followup work. I don't think you will ever find a better holistic dental team, who are as highly skilled as those at Integrative Dentistry.

I have a lot of dental anxiety, but Dr. Cao was wonderful. She's warm, compassionate, and took lots of time to figure out the best treatment plan for me. Been coming to Integrative Dentistry for years, and it's hands down the best oral healthcare I've ever had. Their holistic methods are top quality—I've lived in several states and nothing compares. Dr. Birrer and everyone there have amazing bedside manner, which is great for someone like me who's had bad experiences elsewhere. As a commercial designer, I also appreciate the relaxing clinic atmosphere. Thoughtful patient experience is rare, but they nail it here in Seattle.

I saw Morgan today for my cleaning and she is so sweet and warm and welcoming. Not to mention, she has the most gentle touch. I have some sensitivity and it’s not unusual for me to get a little zing now and then when I go in for my routine cleaning—something I assumed was unavoidable. I had not a moment of discomfort with Morgan! She paid attention to my areas of sensitivity with extra care. Assistant Jenn took some pictures and was equally kind and gentle. Great team!
I appreciate the clear, direct, communication and explanations Dr. Birrer and Hygenist Morgan provided about the condition of my teeth and gums, the X-rays, and improvements I can make at home.
They informed me of Ortho residue and Dr. Birrer provided this is not standard procedure. He quoted me for removing it at my next apt for a decent fee.
I sought a second opinion and found a local ortho who removed the residue in 3 mins for free.
Dr. Birrer, Morgan and Goldie were welcoming.
Biophillic office touches were nice.
Online research lead me to seek gut oral biome connection and functional/ integrative care.
Morgan did take a plaque sample and Goldie put it under a microscope but it didn't impact my care or effect any of the advice.
The only major difference I experienced vs. traditional care was use of a hydroxyapatite coat instead of flouride after my cleaning. Oh and cost. A routine cleaning + exam + X-rays here is $400 vs. free for in-network traditional dentist.
The pricing does not justify the service for me at this time.
If I have a need for substantial dental work in the future, I may seek Dr. Birrer's opinion.
My best dental experience yet! I have lived in 7 states, over my young years, (I am under 40 y/o) and the spirited treatment that I received today is really akin to dining at a Michelin star restaurant.
Let's start with their ceiling being SPOTLESS, zero unwanted tenants; dust bunnies, taking refuge in their corners. And then I was taken to the chair by a calming and hospitable Leigh, is a presumption on the spelling, and she was wonderful, she had a personality decorated with humor and grace. Miss Leigh, made sure my needs were met before I could find myself in need of anything.
When my Doctor arrived, Dr. Cao I was immediately hypnotized by her confident and well-mannered delivery of my treatment plan, the final dental outcome and all my questions, and I had a lot. Oh boy did she answer my questions and provided me with so much information! Their equipment was clean, no worries of "what in the world is that!?" Or "how long has that been there?" Came to mind.
I would highly recommend them to someone looking for an new caring dentist office. I should note, that they are a Holistic/Naturopathic Dentist office, versus the Allopathic treatment you would receive via a provider that is "in-network", they are, primarily "out of pocket" when it comes to payment for dental expenses. This is only a concern if you are limited with your cash flow/budget.
The materials and procedures are not what you may see/experience in a 'normal' dentist office. Integrative Dentistry allows for as many Holistic products and protections as they can, example Dr. Cao, informed me that most of their products are BPA-free, but as the Dental industry is established in the protocols of the Allopathic industry, not Naturopathic, some material is cannot be soured as one might desire. She also took ample time to go over my x-rays and previous dental procedures AND provided me with a sample of what that looks like with a bacterial swab of my mouth. That was grossly exciting and slightly disturbing. 😂
I initially reached out to them because I found their office on I.O.A.M.T., (if you are not familiar, please research it!) And they practice S.M.A.R.T., procedures for Almagam filling removal. Which is not something 90%(estimated) of Allopathic dentists may even offer in Washington State.
I walked away with a newfound trust in my dental provider, and I look forward to doing business with them. Everyone smiled at me and looked pleased to be there. That's a place that I want to give my business to.

*P.s., I think it is fair to attribute a first time visit to test driving a highly desired vehicle, it's brand new to YOU, it feels and looks good, but you will eventually become accustomed to it, benefits and cons, alike I was impressed with my first visit, but I am a realistic and am learning to lean into grace where required. I typically don’t take the time to do many reviews, but I wanted to give A special shout out to my dentist office integrative dentistry And especially my dentist Dr. Birrer. I have been a patient for years and I’ve always been treated very respectfully and conscientiously About having dental anxiety and I feel Dr.Birrer makes sure to allow enough time to explain everything very thoroughly ,talk things through with me and when he’s doing procedures, Explaining along the way, which can really calm my nerves. I live two hours away & I feel like it’s worth the commute to have a dentist that I trust. So I just wanted to take a moment to publicly share this and hopefully this can help others when you’re deciding on a new dentist . You won’t regret going to integrative dentistry
