Took my mom in to get her dentures adjusted. The dentist said he'd call the next day to check how they felt, but never did. The dentures still don't fit well. When we went back, he just pointed out what he couldn't do and didn't offer any solutions — wasn't very kind either. Our old dentist in Orange County used to do a soft reline, but not here. I think he knows his stuff, but I wouldn't go back.

Dr. J. Ghatnekar is honestly the gentlest dentist I've ever been to. Every procedure, whether it's a routine dental cleaning or something more involved like root canal therapy, has been smooth and pretty much painless. He explains everything step by step so you're never left wondering. The hygienist "MT" is super thorough, and assistant Christina is always so attentive. Had such a great experience at Dr. Ghatnekar’s office! He's super personable and actually funny, which made the whole visit comfortable and even enjoyable. Visited Dr. Jeevan Ghatnekar's clinic in Irvine with bad pain at the angle of my jaw. He quickly figured out the cause and did the procedure — pain was gone in three days. He's got over 20 years in general dentistry and implants, and really knows his stuff with jaw muscle issues. Very professional, courteous, and explains everything clearly. Answered all my questions. I'm so fortunate to be under Dr. Ghatnekar's care after my teeth gave out from stress and neglect. He's compassionate and caring, and his skills with implants, crowns, and bonding are remarkable. This has to be the best dentist i have ever been too. Everyone is so thoughtful and made me feel like im at home. I had to have a tooth extraction and have always been terrified of dentists. Prior to my visit here, I had only had negative or painful experiences. I was so lucky I found it here. Instantly felt great, staff was awesome, and I didn’t feel a thing during the procedure! Best dental experience I have had in my 34 years of being alive. He's rated so highly for a reason. I'm a college student who moved away so I had to look for a new dentist. Dr. Jeevan was the first dentist I tried out in the area and is going to be my last. Every experience has been great and I've learned so much about my teeth. Dr. Jeevan places high emphasis on educating his patients on oral health. It's refreshing to see a healthcare professional care about fixing problems while also giving the tools to prevent those problems.
I first came in due to wisdom teeth pain which was scary since I didn't have my parents or my regular hometown dentist. I'm scared of shots and have a low pain tolerance but Dr. Jeevan and his team (specifically Raul) were amazing. I highly recommend him to anyone with dental anxiety. You will have a great experience here. They didn't sugarcoat anything and told me exactly what I was going to expect. I did not feel any pain or discomfort. I didn't realize they had given me a shot until it was over, that's how great they are. Dr. Jeevan and his team are so calm and their energy aids in easing your worries.
Their communication is outstanding. When it came to taking about insurance, they are incredibly transparent about the process. Dr. Jeevan and his team walks you through step by step with what your insurance covers well before any procedure. I received text messages, follow up calls, and updates regarding all of my appointments or procedures. Every time I request an appointment they get back to me so quickly it's insane.
I did not realize that I had two dental insurances (one from my university and one from my parents). Dr. Jeevan and his team notified me about my two insurances and refunded me for the rest promptly. I cannot emphasize how grateful I am for this. He is an honest and great dude. He could have kept that money and I would not have blinked an eye. It's clear that he operates an exceptional and fair business.

I would like to thank the Dr.Jeevan for his quality work and quality care with a tooth extraction. After leaving another dentist office. I was a bit down after hearing some of the work I needed. And the cost it would be. My wife found this office in Irvine immediately after while I left and was on my way to work. Not only did he see me the same day. Which just so happened to be less than a mile from my work!
As the other dentist office in Los alomitos wanted to send me somewhere else for a specialist who only comes in once a month!
Dr. Jeevan and staff, quickly verified my insurance got me in and out in less than 1 hour!
He followed up with me on his personal number, made sure my perscriptions were in. And even followed up after to make sure everything was fine with me.
I've never had such a great experience even tho I still had to get the extraction.
However they had great music and environment in office. Numbed my mouth really well. And I'm already back up and ready to go the next day!
I found a new dentist and would highly recommend anyone looking for a great dentist to give them a call!
