Went to Jackson Square Dental Centre in Hamilton thinking my appointment would cost around $100, based on what three people told me. Initially charged $111, but as I was leaving, the doctor called reception to change billing codes, and I ended up paying $292. That stung! Afterward, I mentioned it to a cashier at another store, and she and someone else both complained about issues with this office. Honestly, it’s disappointing when estimates don’t match up for routine check-ups.

Came to Jackson Square Dental Centre in Hamilton for an emergency recementation, which went great—I needed a new dentist and the location and hours were perfect. Then I booked a cleaning for 5pm on Thursday: my card, text, and call all said 5pm, with no reschedule request. Showed up and was told it was at 5:50/6pm, and when I showed the text, they called it a 'system error.' Honestly, it’s frustrating when your time isn’t respected like that, even if the emergency dental service was good.

A couple years ago, I brought my daughter to Jackson Square Dental Centre in Hamilton for sleep dentistry, and it traumatized her. The assistants were rude and impatient, making her feel extremely uncomfortable. Recently, I took her to a new dentist, and she was so relaxed and calm—they were amazing compared to this office. To this day, she gets anxiety anytime we walk by this place in the mall. I really regret ever taking her here for pediatric dentistry.

Today, I went to check my appointment booked through OpenCare—as an international student, it’s my first time booking a dental appointment in Canada. The lady at the counter was very impolite, with facial expressions and an aggressive voice that made me feel frustrated. I asked politely, but the way I was treated was terrible. I had a root canal treatment done and i felt uncomfortable because the doctor and his assistant kept talking in their language for most of the procedure, i believe it was punjabi. also the doctor was in a rush in the end to his other client which made me feel nervous because you wont be taking time and care with my tooth instead of rushing. I had a root canal done previously at another clinic and it was professional. this is something that the doctor needs to work on moving forward when working with his clients.

Just had my wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr. Akkad at Jackson Square Dental Centre in Hamilton, and wow, what an amazing experience! He explained everything thoroughly and was incredibly gentle—didn’t even feel the needle, and it was over in minutes. Solaf, the dental assistant, was so calming too. I was pretty anxious beforehand, but they made it totally painless and easy. Highly recommend this place for extractions in Hamilton!

Been going to Jackson Square Dental Centre in Hamilton for about 24 years now, and the service has always been exemplary. The staff are professional and courteous—whether it’s Dr. Mak or Dr. Akkad, who’s the most patient and thoughtful dentist I’ve ever met. You get the best possible care here for things like dental cleanings and more. As a long-time patient with other options, I’ve never considered going anywhere else. 5 stars all the way for this Hamilton dental clinic!

Very pleased with my experience and customer service. I recommend such a place for anybody looking for a dentist that does sleep dentistry. From Start to completion of my procedure I was comfortable without any pain and I had a full extraction done of both top and bottom teeth so that's say's alot. I plan to have the denture done here as well.

This is by far the worst dental office I have ever experienced. I work with special needs individuals and the lack of accessibility and care provided to them is asinine. A client of mine had an appointment scheduled there yesterday at 1:30 pm. It was a sedated appointment and he was not allowed to eat prior. He sat in the waiting room for 4 hours before being brought to a room and didn’t leave his appointment until close to 7pm. Please read that again, a special needs person was made to fast and wait 4 hours past their appointment time before being seen. He spent 7 hours at a dental office on a fasted stomach. This is not the first horrific experience we have had a Jackson square but it is absolutely the last, I will never bring another client here.

I used to be nervous about dental treatment, but thanks to Jackson Square Dental I can confidently say those fears are gone. From the moment you walk in, you feel the professionalism and care. Every dentist I have seen here has been highly skilled, attentive, and kind. Despite having undergone extensive procedures—including drilling and implants—I never experienced pain at any stage. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding work. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to everyone.

Awesome dental office. Inside is very modern and extremely clean.
I had a small encounter however, I left feeling extremely satisfied. Alana, the manager on shift, was able to rectify the situation and make me feel truly comfortable. She was highly professional and handled the matter with absolute care.
This dental office and the associates made me feel like I was apart of their work place family. I don’t think I would change offices anytime soon.

Great place. Really nice welcoming clean waiting area. The dental hygienist was excellent along with the dentist. Explained options clearly. The reception made sure to check what I needed to pay after what the insurance covered as to avoid any surprise charges. Have been going here for my cleaning , dental xray exams and fillings and will continue to do so. Great place.
I had an excellent experience at the dental in Jackson Square. The doctor and her assistant were professional and efficient, and they did a fantastic job with my cavity fillings. I also really appreciated how patient they were—whenever I needed a break, they never got irritated and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Highly recommend their services!
