Came in for the $59 cleaning, exam, and x-rays advertised, but they wanted me to sign something that could let them charge a few hundred dollars if they decided the cleaning was worth more. Felt like a bait-and-switch. It's hard to trust dental offices these days, especially when so many are owned by private equity firms. Not a good experience in Kent.

Broke an old crown the night before and scrambled to find a dentist. Called Kent Smiles Dentistry first thing in the morning and they got me in within hours. Replaced the crown in about 2 hours. The office manager helped me figure out payment, and the technician was so kind and skilled. Dr. Coleman took her time to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you Chris, Reya, and Dr. Coleman! I came in with an emergency tooth appointment and was unable to pay for a root canal out of pocket. Chris and Dr. Wen worked together to create a care plan I could afford. The dentist makes me extremely anxious and Dr. Wen treated me with compassion and respect throughout the entire procedure. I'm switching dentists after 1.5 years because of issues with fillings that didn't align with my bite. They fixed them once for free, but then 6 months later said the cavities weren't fully removed and I'd need to redo both. I wanted to like this place since it's in the neighborhood, but I'm worried about paying to fix something that wasn't done right. So I'm out.

Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I was nervous because I hadn't been to the dentist in years, but they made me feel comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. From the front desk to the dentists, everyone was attentive. Definitely going back for my routine checkups and cleanings.

Really lovely place. Everyone was nice, especially Dr. Brian Wen. I have some bad teeth problems and they didn't make me feel ashamed or guilty. It's a bit far from where I live, but I'll definitely go back for future work.

Honestly, this dental office is amazing. I have a lot of anxiety about dentists and have neglected my teeth because of it. I was scared of being judged, but Dr. Joonil Park was so caring and professional. He explained everything in detail and listened to my concerns. No judgment, just great care. Also, Dr. Wen was awesome with my daughter—answered all her questions in a way she understood. So grateful to have found this place in Kent.

Leading up to the appointment, they called me multiple times to confirm, but I wasn’t able to pick up because I was at work. I checked in online, but apparently that wasn’t enough, so they canceled my appointment. I showed up 15 minutes before my scheduled time and then waited another 15 minutes because they were having a staff meeting. The lady at the front desk was very rude and came out yelling at me. Never again at this place. Too bad you just lost a customer.

My old dentist retired, so I started looking for a new one. Found Kent Smiles Dentistry near my place in Kent. They had a few dentists to choose from. I talked with the staff and picked Dr. Brian Wen. He's friendly, respectful, and does great work. The office team handles insurance questions quickly. Already had two crowns replaced and everything went smoothly. Super happy with my choice.

Hi, I used kent smiles as my dentist in the past. I recently switched because of their unlawful practices. They were forcing me to perform dental work that I did not need. This was validated by my new dentist yesterday on 1/9/26. I was forced to perform work that was more than necessary, and when I challenged them on the need for the 5 cavities they said I had, they would not cancel my appointment without me providing medical records. That is an illegal request, but I was still charged for cancelling my appointment. My new dentist says that I have zero cavities more than six months after they claimed I had five. Kent Smiles should loose their licensing and an investigation into their business practices should take place. I would like my $100 refund as they are corrupt and tried to abuse me with unnecessary dental work.

Kent Smile Dentistry has and absolutely great service they are super supportive and flexible there customer service team, not limited to, but including include Tana and Chris at the reception are always welcoming and helpful with whatever issues I'm facing. Wow, this office has amazing staff all across the board, between the front desk personnel to the dental assistants! I’d have to say that Dr. Coleman is the best dentist that I’ve received dental care from since childhood! She’s very professional and patient, gentle with her bedside care, and thorough with the details she provides when it comes to the background of the care she’s providing throughout the appointment. The staff in general truly does provide a welcoming environment. Highly recommended if anyone is needing dental care within south king county! ☺️👍
