1. We were seen 2 hours after our appointment time.
2. The Asian woman doctor speaks to parents in a condescending tone.
2. The anesthesiologist has a rule where parents cannot be with their child while they put them under. Allowing our children to be unconscious with strangers without parents present will never make sense to me.
3. My child's SHOES were during the procedure even though he was here for a DENTAL procedure.
4. Kids on 1st overcharged me, then had me going back and for the anesthesiologist office saying it was them who overcharged me. This lasted over a month. My FSA account said that if I didn't have an itemized receipt with the refund, I would lose my FSA account completely.
5. The representative said they were refunding the money back to me 4 separate times. My FSA account was saying nothing was refunded each time. Then, the representative said all the refunds went through and now I actually owed 3x as much as before. When I finally included my FSA account representative to the email, then they stopped replying. I never received the refund, I just stopped asking.
Just started taking my kids here and they have been really great. Nice staff and in and out quickly. Very happy with how professional they are.

Sarah was our hygienist and she was super helpful. The X-ray machine was down, but she worked quickly with the office staff to try to fix it and got us scheduled for a separate appointment for imaging. She was patient with our kiddo and gentle. This has been my kid's dentist office since 2022. They do a great job—get you in and out quickly. They have games and you can watch TV while you wait. The kids love it. We had a visit today and Sara was very nice, as usual.

Had my daughter's appointment at 8:30am at Kid's Choice Dental in Federal Way. We got there a little early, but dental assistant Sara called us in right on time. She and the doctor were great—they explained everything before they did it. Really appreciated the customer service and how well they took care of my daughter. That's why I gave them 5 stars. Thanks!

NEVER AGAIN ! If I could give a 0 star that what I would give. WORST PLACE EVER. I had an appointment where they pretended to be attending to me and my kid but by end of appointment no service was given, and I mean no service! no check up or washing, nothing! they said we will do all that in the next visit, so what was I doing here today? Then the dental assistant told us to go back to the lobby she will get us a new toothbrush and tooth paste as if that is what we were there for, which she never brought, all she came to tell us was when the next appointment is, If you hate your kids and yourself, go to this place! NEVER AGAIN

Dear parents, I urge you to pay close attention to one particular staff member at this clinic. We have been coming to Federal Way Kid's Choice Dental for quite a while, and normally we have no issues with the other nurses. However, every time we encounter this particular nurse, we face serious problems. My child becomes anxious and cries, afraid of her because she treats children with hostility. She speaks harshly, raises her voice, and never explains what she’s doing. There’s not a hint of a smile or any kindness in her demeanor. She just grabs instruments and uses them without warning the child at all.
My child used to go to the dentist without fear, but after dealing with this nurse, he left the clinic in tears, trembling with fright. I urge the clinic’s management and all parents to consider whether this person belongs in a pediatric dental clinic. Perhaps she would be better suited to another position that does not involve working with children. This is not a prison, and no child deserves to be treated with such animosity.
In these cases, it is especially important for the staff and management to respond to such individuals who bring this kind of negativity into a place meant for children. No one in America should have to tolerate such hostility in a setting that should be safe and welcoming for kids.

A children’s clinic should be a safe place, not a source of fear.

I am writing this review to warn other parents about a deeply disturbing and frightening experience at this children’s clinic.
During my child’s appointment (my child is 11 years old), the nurse behaved in an aggressive, intimidating, and unacceptable manner. Instead of calmly explaining the procedure, she yelled at my child in a commanding tone and forcefully attempted to push a breathing device into my child’s mouth, without explanation and without regard for my child’s fear.
My child was terrified. I repeatedly asked the nurse to be gentle and respectful, reminding her that she was dealing with a child. She completely ignored my requests and continued yelling and using force.
The consequences of this incident have been severe. Since that visit, my child is now afraid to go to the doctor. Before this, my child had no fear of doctors or dentists and attended medical appointments calmly. Now even discussing a doctor’s visit causes anxiety and distress. This kind of experience can be psychologically traumatic for a child and should never happen in a pediatric clinic.
I genuinely believe this behavior is dangerous for children. Children require patience, calm explanations, and care — not shouting and physical force — especially in a medical environment.
I have never witnessed behavior like this in any children’s clinic in any U.S. state. The nurse’s actions raised serious concerns about her professional competence and suitability to work with children.
I strongly urge the clinic’s management to review this employee’s conduct and ensure that all staff interacting with children are properly trained and qualified.
Once again, I want to warn all parents:
Please stay alert, observe how staff treat your child, and always advocate for your child’s safety.

My daughter and I have been going here since she was old enough to have dental appointments. She’s gotten a filling, they’ve fixed a broken tooth and every time we come we are greeted by the staff. Luciana is always there with a smile and great laugh and Norma sends some beautiful and kind reminder calls, ALWAYS. Kids don’t always like the dentist, but my kiddo looks forward to coming here. Plus, they decorate every season and it always looks so fun and festive!
