I have a extreme fear of the dentist and anything dentistry related my dr kept me extremely calm when I was about to back out of my appointment I needed a double root canal they truly and I mean truly care here made me feel at home and safe and that’s not a easy thing to do with someone like me I will go back and again painless I mean absolutely painless they made the impossible possible!

I don’t believe this practice is handling insurance correctly. If they accept an in network insurance, there should not be a charge for routine fillings or on time bitewing X-rays. They charged us for fillings out of pocket when our insurance clearly covers fillings. Then, when the insurance did pay for them, the dentist put a credit on our account but didn’t inform us of the credit until the next visit. Why are they charging for covered services? And when you question them they make you feel like you don’t understand things. More and more dentists don’t want to accept insurance because they can’t make top dollar.

I used to love coming here but things have changed. The staff at the front desk are a bit rude on the phone. I called in because I had a broken front tooth. All I wanted was the tooth filled, nothing else. The girl calls me back and says they need to come up with a plan… new x rays and do a hygiene appointment first and then possibly fill the tooth. I told her they have already taken a ton of X-rays and I asked why all the extra stuff and appointments instead of fixing the issue and mentioned all I wanted was the tooth filled. Figured an X-ray and filling and be done. They want you to jump through hoops when you just want one thing done. Seems like a money grab to me and it’s frustrating when you have something like this happen. Like I said the wife has always been great, husband gave my wife attitude a few times because her brother is a dentist and she had him do a filling and he basically told her to go back to him instead. I will be looking for another dentist in the area. Such a shame.

After my pre-teen had a really bad anxiety-provoking experience at another dentist, I found Lake Hill. My kid needed more work than expected (documented with X-rays I've seen) and handled it amazingly well. I was able to sit with my kid, and they made sure kiddo was okay at every stage. Only reason for 4 stars is we haven't had a routine cleaning yet due to coordination with orthodontics. Also, contacting them can be challenging—goes to voicemail.
