Honestly, best dental experience I've ever had, and I've been to a few places around Venice, FL. Came in for a cleaning, X-rays, exam, and some bonding on my lower teeth – couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and totally at ease. I know a lot of folks get anxious about the dentist, but this office really puts those fears to rest. I'm beyond happy with all the work I had done, especially the cosmetic dentistry. Can't recommend them enough. Thanks for being absolutely amazing!

Can't recommend enough – and I really dislike going to the dentist. Most welcoming and friendly customer service. Very clean and relaxing inside the office. Dr. Lavin is great about talking you through services, explaining everything that's going on, and patient with hearing out any questions or concerns. The membership plan is affordable and exactly what I was looking for. I had a bad experience with a dentist as a kid and now I dread cleanings as an adult, but this was the best dental experience I've ever had. Absolutely loved my experience with Dr. Lavin. From the first phone call, I felt a warm welcome from the office. Kim at the front desk is exceptionally kind and patient – I had to reschedule due to a family emergency and she remembered my name and situation a month later. You can tell the staff is like family. They go out of their way to make you comfortable, offering drinks, blankets, music, stress balls, teas, and warm face cloths, whatever you need. Dr. Lavin has a great demeanor too – super personable and makes you feel comfortable during what's usually uncomfortable for most people. Great family dentistry right here in Venice.

Had my exam, cleaning, and whitening done – felt like I was at a spa, super relaxed. The water temperature was nice and warm. Dr. Lavin and her assistant Kim are fantastic. My appointment was quick and smooth. Scheduling was very easy. I have braces on and my teeth had some coffee stains, but Dr. Lavin was able to help with the whitening and get the stains out. Overall such a wonderful visit for general dentistry in Venice, FL. Anyone looking for a dentist, I recommend Lavin Family Dental.

I had an urgent issue with an inflamed gland – didn't even know it existed before my visit. Dr. Lavin immediately diagnosed it and prescribed a special mouthwash that cleared it up in a couple of days. I chose Dr. Lavin from Google and other site reviews. From the moment I called to make my appointment, I felt welcomed. Kim warmly greeted me as I walked in and quickly got me checked in. The reception and waiting area were super clean and offered tea, coffee, and water. There are optional complimentary comfort items to make your visit comfortable – I chose the neck pillow, aromatherapy, and warm lavender facecloth at the end. I got right in even though I was 10 minutes early. The exam room was very clean and offered the newest technology for X-rays and exams. Great experience for general dentistry in Venice, FL.

I can’t recommend Lavin Family Dental enough! I came in needing a few cavities filled while also wearing braces, which can be tricky. Not only did they work seamlessly around the brackets, but they also coordinated with my orthodontist to make sure everything was done right. I took my daughter to see Dr Lavin for her first ever visit to the dentist. Dr Lavin was so warm and inviting and explained everything she was going to do and even let my daughter look and hold the tools before beginning.
She is so wonderful with kids and makes the experience fun and not in the least bit intimidating. After the appointment, my daughter got to pick out a prize and became a member of the no cavity club! I am so happy that there is another dentist in Venice that has lots of experience with pediatric clients and welcomes them with open arms.
Update to original review: I recently came in for a preventative cleaning on my teeth and had the best experience. It was the most gentle cleaning I’ve ever experienced at the dentist! Dr Lavin truly made me feel so heard and cared for during my visit.

Such a great dentist and staff! Everyone is so friendly. They always make me feel comfortable even though I usually hate going to the dentist. Dr. Lavin was able to get me in last minute for when I was experiencing pain. They were able to get all of my dental work done in a very short time frame too.
