Got all my teeth pulled and dentures made way cheaper than anywhere else around here. People complain too much—seriously, it took longer for the numbing to work than for him to pull out 3 or 4 broken teeth and stitch me up. Dr. Lents in Newbern doesn't mess around, he just gets it done. His assistant is awesome too. If you need cosmetic dentistry or extractions done fast, he's your guy.

Honestly, I was in so much pain with a hot tooth over the weekend, and Dr. Lents in Newbern, TN really came through. I walked in without an appointment first thing Monday morning, and they got me in within 30 minutes. By 9am, he'd pulled two teeth like a pro! The emergency dental care was only $200, which felt super reasonable. He's a nice guy too—going to the dentist isn't fun, but I'll definitely go back if I need teeth pulled again. Don't know what those negative reviews are about!

He was very aggressive with the needle and didn't let the numbing cream set in long enough. Think he hit a nerve because I'm still numb after a day here in Newbern, TN. Will be finding another dentist that takes my insurance for future routine checkups. Just wasn't a great experience.

First off, walking in and smelling cigarette smoke didn't feel professional at all. The front desk lady was nice and helped ease my worries, but Dr. Lents was rough and inconsiderate with my daughter's pain. She went in for a simple teeth cleaning in Newbern, TN, and he just looked with a mirror for 5 minutes, said no cavities without x-rays—even though she knew she had some. Not the careful emergency dental care we expected.

Awful experience. If you have TennCare, don't go. He pulled 13 teeth, then canceled the mold for dentures the day before, fearing payment issues. Another dentist in Newbern, TN had to rescue me. They also refused to give me my paid x-rays, saying offices don't keep them? Extremely unprofessional for emergency dental care.
