First time at the dentist for our daughter and they were amazing. Patient, friendly, super kid-friendly. The office is colorful and nice too. Our girl is slow to warm up but she actually enjoyed it and felt comfortable. Will definitely recommend this pediatric dentist in Garden Grove.

Avoid this place! Horrible service—always takes forever, even with an appointment you wait 30-60 min. They're overbooked and you barely get time with the dentist/orthodontist. They fill all chairs and the doctor runs around spending less than 5 min per patient. Regret coming here but my son already started ortho, can't move him mid-treatment. Also worst customer service—tried calling to schedule brace removal and it's impossible.

Best location—all the workers treat kids with care and caution, never forcing them to do anything they're not comfortable with. Every time we go, the wait is short and the visit is over quickly.

I've heard good things about Lollipop Dental, but our experience has not been positive. The problem is mostly with dishonest billing and it felt like they were more about making money than providing the best care to patients. I was told later not to go to chain dentist places, and I get why now.
My kid needed more treatments (filling/crown) than just the standard cleaning. We were told to get general anesthesia for the treatments. The problem is that they want a $400 nonrefundable deposit to schedule the appointment. They said anesthesia will cost around $800 + $120/hour. Another reviewer mentioned they paid $1,275 for anesthesia alone. Additionally, the staff won't tell us the total cost of the treatment, including anesthesia and all the dental work. They also won't check insurance to give us a quote until we pay the deposit. It's just such a shady process.
Also, I tend to get X-ray copies for my records. I've never had dental offices charging for them. However, they charge $35 for them here.
I ended up going to another dentist's office and was much happier. They were so good with kids. They promised to always let me know my out-of-pocket cost before a procedure. They also didn't charge for X-ray copies. The dentist was so skilled that he was able to complete everything for my kid without the use of laughing gas or general anesthesia.

I came here to get a second opinion for my 3yo daughter, her previous dentist said she had 6 cavities and needed 3 crowns. Here at Lollipop Dental they reassured me she DID NOT need those crowns. Very welcoming immediately upon walking in. The welcome sign even had his name that they pointed out right away. Environment is bright and fun. TVs on the ceiling for the kiddos! Dentist was so kind and gentle and walked us through each step. My son was pretty nervous and he felt more and more relaxed with each minute.

My 5 year old daughter is a tough patient. I always get nervous to bring her to a new doctor or dentist because she refuses to participate. This was our first visit at this dentist and I was blown away by how they encouraged my daughter. They were patient, they played hide and seek with her, gave her a ton of little toys to help her feel comfortable. I recommend this dentist office to anyone who has a kid like mine!

Doctors and staff members here are amazing and very nice. My kids feel very comfortable here and i have no problem getting them to their appointment bc they are not scared of the dentist. Friendly staff and doctors! I highky recommend this office!

Took my daughter for a regular dental check-up today. Met Ms. Sophia—very friendly and enthusiastic. My daughter wasn't scared at all and happily followed her. Also met Dr. Judy who gave careful instructions and worked very conscientiously.

Isiah, Arely, Sophia did amazing cleaning on both daughters and assisted with comforting both of them. It was a visit that was full of things we were not prepared to do all the work they needed done on my 8 year old daughter. They were so sweet and experienced. Vanessa and Savanah were awesome switching the schedule to complete the needed work and were prompt in giving information I needed to proceed. I have been bringing my daughters for 7 years and will continue because they are wonderful with kids and my kids love the dentist visits. ❤️
