DO NOT GO HERE!!! I was having a panic attack and the manager laughed at me and started saying 'GRRRR' to antagonize me while I was throwing up. Absolutely horrible. When I said thanks for putting me into a panic attack, he said 'YOU'RE WELCOME'. Unbelievable. This place is awful for anyone with anxiety or any medical issue.

Tried to get an appointment for a hole in my tooth, but the person answering phones at the Elyria office was super unprofessional. She demanded my full Social Security number over the phone, and when I said I wasn't comfortable with that, she basically said if I didn't give it, she wouldn't help me. Felt really fishy and rude. I had my ID and insurance card ready, but that wasn't good enough. Definitely showed their true colors. Disappointing because I needed dental care.

Dr. Beth is the best dentist I've ever been to. The hygienist was superb too. Both made me feel super comfortable. The front office ladies, though, are a different story—not so great. But the dental care itself is excellent.

Update: got a call from them saying my son was referred to a pediatric dentist. The paperwork says it only slows cavities, doesn't stop them. I wasn't told that. So read everything carefully. I still suggest taking kids to a pediatric dentist. If you come here, make sure you read the fine print. Took my son to a pediatric dentist today and they said...

Horrible blonde receptionist, younger girl. I was late but called ahead and they said it was fine. When I got there, she pointed to a sign about a 15-minute grace period and clicked her nails on it in my face. I told her I called, and she said I hung up on the lady—which is a lie. I drove from Westlake to Elyria for nothing, and I'm 6 months pregnant! Will never go back.

Been to lots of dentists over the years, but these folks in Elyria are the most professional, caring, and talented I've ever seen. They really care about their patients—called to check on me after my procedure, which almost never happens. Dr. Barthamile is amazing. Whatever they're paying them, it's not enough.

We've been here a few times. They provide good medical care and customer service. They answer the phone, set appointments easily, and get you in quick even on short notice. Really convenient for our family in Elyria.

The front desk staff while I was there, were really friendly and accommodating. Once in the doctor's room, he was very helpful and took his time. Highly recommend!

The receptionist, an older heavy-set lady, wouldn't even look at me when talking—just rude. Phones get turned off at 5 so you can't call. Worst medical place I've been to. No accommodations for patients, kids, or people with disabilities. They treat you like you're beneath them. Unwilling to help.

So rude when I called to schedule an appointment for my two-year-old. The lady answered with an attitude, sounded like she hated her job. Her tone was unfriendly the whole call. Didn't make me feel comfortable about my kid's first dental visit, so I didn't even make an appointment.

They said I would be notified of my appointment. No notification took place and now I'm placed on a daily call every day to get an appointment. I was told I couldn't rely on the call after I was told. Don't worry I'll receive a call. I call back to speak to Jason The supervisor and the lady said hold on one minute and kicked me to his voicemail of course. They are shady and unprofessional Go somewhere else.
Horrible customer service. Filed a complaint about a horrible doctor my son saw. Deb who answers the phone, cuts you off mid-sentence. Won't let me explain why I don't want to be transferred to someone who won't return my call. RUDE and unprofessional. Filed a complaint. Was assured my concern would be addressed and they'd call me back. No one calls back.
They schedule my appointments months out, then they schedule me, a night shift worker for noon even though I ask for morning. When I inevitably miss the appointment (you try staying awake until noon after working 10pm to 630am) they tell me I have to wait to reschedule. My wife makes a statement to me while I am on the call (speakerphone) and I respond to her statement with "whatever". The receptionist over hears me and responds with whatever and hangs up on me. Very unproffesional place. They did not inform me of other issues I have after seeing another dentist as well like my old fillings needing replaced. If you have the choice look elsewhere for dental work. This place is a farce of a dentist.
I want to add to this that I have been going to this dentist for over a year and a half and have been to over fourteen appointments never missing any. This is the first one I missed and now I apparently can't be trusted. This seems outrageous. What if I was in a car accident? What if I had a heart attack? I am getting up to that age where it becomes a possibility.
Called and asked if they would be able to fix a chipped tooth same day appointment, was told absolutely it would take 15-20 minutes and I’d be out the door.
I come in, the receptionist is super nice and friendly but beyond that was a giant mess.
I’m called back by the most unfriendly dental assistant who tells me to have a seat, takes and X-ray and then says the doctor would be in.
5 minutes later the doctor comes in, takes a look at my tooth and says “yeah that’s chipped, we have to fix it but that can’t be done today, book an appointment up front to come back.”
So I go up front and the next appointment time they have available is 12 days away.
I asked if the tooth can be fixed today got told to come on in; only to get told they can’t fix it today and to come back 12 days later? Unacceptable.
Guess I’ll take my business to a dentist that actually cares and has some sort of bedside manner.
Avoid this place at all cost.
Not sure if everytime I called the receptionist was having a bad day but they always sound very annoyed and rude over the phone when I have went in they seem to be kinda nice but hint of attitude is always shown for some reason but the Doctor and nurses are always nice and very helpful with caring for my children and answering any questions I may have. The only issues I’ve ever had are with the receptionists and their tone of voice when speaking to me not sure if it’s because I’m a young mom or what but it’s not acceptable
Nice facility & front desk staff. Made a same day appointment for today for my daughter to have a chipped tooth filled. They asked if she was in pain and sent us to make another appointment to actually fill it. This visit was a waste of valuable time. In the past this service would be done same day. Very disappointing.
I LOOOVE the dental side at this location. The dentist that work here are AMAZING with me and my teenagers. They are quick, caring, and gentle.
The doctor side though, could step it up. My 4th time here and I have waited an hour past my apt time, before I even saw a doctor... and its not crowded, I don't feel the same caring vibes on the doctor side that I do on dental side.
Secretary is always very nice and greets with a smile. The nurses and everyone are super nice. I honestly love them. My only issue is I wait a little too long pass my appt time which is beyond frustrating, but still understandable.
