Tried to bring my 3-year-old for her first dentist visit here. They cancelled twice, and the second time they didn't even tell me—I called the morning of to check since I hadn't gotten a reminder, and they said it was cancelled. On the actual appointment day, the front desk lady was nice enough, but the girl who came to take my granddaughter back didn't introduce herself or say a word to make a scared kid feel comfortable. She wasn't even the dentist; she left and came back with him, and he had the same cold attitude. Not a good first dental experience for a toddler.

Staff wasn't friendly except for maybe half the front desk. The doctor barely examined my wife and me—maybe said five sentences total. They took X-rays, but two-thirds weren't preventive, so we each owed a $99 deductible. They never asked if we had recent X-rays from our old dentist (we did). We were told the first visit would be fully covered as preventive. The billing person wouldn't return my calls. Felt misled.

Called to make an appointment, gave them my insurance info, they said I was all set. Showed up and suddenly they don't accept my insurance—blamed the insurance company's list being wrong. They asked if I was in pain, I said yes, and when I offered to pay out of pocket, they said no because I have insurance. So I left with no care. The doctors might be fine, but the staff and billing will waste your time and then blame you. Don't bother.

Wish I could give zero stars. The doctor never spoke to me. My daughter came out from the back and sat down, and we didn't even know if the exam was over. I had to ask the front desk if she was done—we had no idea what teeth they worked on. Five minutes later the doctor was with another patient, so we couldn't talk to her. The bill just had a charge, no description of what was done, and didn't even have the business name on it. Totally unprofessional.

If you're looking for a new primary care doctor, be careful with this place. I'm new to Oberlin and they got me in quick, same day even. I just needed a refill on my blood pressure and cholesterol meds. My insurance covers preventive care with no copay, but they hit me with a $20 'New Patient fee'—never seen that before. Then they sent me elsewhere for blood work and an EKG. When I came back a month later to go over results, they charged another $20 copay because the doc discussed my labs and family history. Feels like nickel-and-diming. Not impressed.

The nurses here are so kind! I love that they try to help even if you don't have insurance or are waiting to get it. Sometimes there's a wait after you arrive, but they're great with kids and can usually get you in pretty quickly. Really appreciate the sliding fee program.

Dr. Walsh has been a good dentist so far, but the receptionist "Deb" was SUPER condescending, as well as irritating, unwilling to listen, stubborn, and misinformed. Asked to speak with her manager, but only kept getting sent directly to someone's voicemail box. No one called back.

Had two teeth removed after they put me on antibiotics. I asked for pain meds, and the doctor automatically assumed I wanted narcotics—I'm not a druggie, that really upset me. After the extractions, they said the infection was gone, but it wasn't. I ended up in the ER with an infection that spread through my body. Still in pain. The hospital doctor couldn't believe they didn't prescribe pain meds or a proper antibiotic. Would not recommend this dentist.

Worst dentist I've ever been to. First visit, they took my X-ray twice and sent me home with an unreadable one. Came back for a redo, third X-ray taken, but the printer was broken—had to come back for a copy. When I came to pick it up, they said I needed to make an appointment to get it. Finally got a copy and they gave me someone else's mouth! Came back again, they couldn't find mine, so I had a fourth X-ray. Start over? Unbelievable.

Terrible bed side manner. Told twice "I don't have time to do treatment". Needed a tooth pulled. Takes 15 minutes to pull a tooth. Doc doesn't have time . Don't schedule an hour before you close if you aren't going to care for your patients . Now I'm left in pain eatting medicine like candy for relief because they don't have time. Disgusted!

1 star is very generous if you ask me. Had a tooth pulled there over a year ago that ended up getting infected really bad and I was prescribed nothing. Also told them about another tooth that was causing me pain and was told nothing was wrong with it and that it was just a sensitive tooth. Well a few weeks later it got infected and I found out it still had some cavity inside the tooth under an old filling I had done years ago.

Their service are very “PROFESSIONAL”. During the repair of my teeth, my cheek were worn out and ulcers began to occur in the next few days. My upper cavity was scratched while taking pictures of my teeth.

Love the staff!! A great group of people who are lovely and go the extra mile to help. Would be five stars except you have to travel out to Lorain for pediatric dentist. She's lovely but it's a 30+ minute drive for us. Bottom line, a great office. :)
