Honestly, the customer service here is terrible. I waited months for them to fax a prescription and dental records—needed those to get my wisdom teeth out. After 20 calls and even going in person, nothing. And the front desk person named Lolly actually hung up on me when I asked them to do their job. When I called back, they laughed at me during a panic attack. Just awful.

Only giving one star because I have to. This place is a joke. My boyfriend scheduled an appointment to have teeth removed, and the doctor canceled due to a storm—okay, fine. But after waiting two more weeks, the receptionist rudely told us they don't accept his insurance, even though he told them beforehand and that's why he booked. They should have said something before the day of the extraction. Extremely unprofessional.

My first visit wasn't great—my teeth are actually in worse shape now, which sucks. The receptionist kept calling to cancel each appointment I had, so I waited months without getting the dental work I really need. But they were nice to my little one, so that's something.

I can't schedule a dental appointment because they refuse to call and verify my insurance. They don't return calls or voicemails. The secretaries are a headache to deal with.

My first appointment felt rushed and I wasn't told what the next steps were. The dentist just handed me a paper and said go up front. I came in for a cleaning, but that didn't happen. Then I found out I had two cavities and needed two separate appointments for those, plus another for cleaning—four appointments spread over months. Doesn't make sense.

I’ve been waiting to get a tooth removed for almost a year , because they schedule me for days the dentist isn’t in , then call me every single time and reschedule. I went a few months ago for the extraction and when I got there I was told I’m getting a filling , the dentist wasn’t there and wouldn’t be in. I also asked for antibiotics for the pain several times after I was told they’ll give me some if I just call and they told me no.
I really like coming here for dental services. They're pretty quick getting you in and out. The dental hygienist I see is amazing—super easy to talk to and never shames me for slacking on brushing (I'm a new mom). Instead, she gives me tips to get back into a routine. This will stay my go-to place for dental work in Lorain.

I recently had a filling refilled by Dr. Joe and I just want to say him and his assistant were amazing! I have a horrible fear of needles, the assistant talked me through the whole process and when Dr. Joe went in to numb me, he was done before I even knew it! I felt NO PAIN! Amazing dental team, I will be back!

Dr.Devor has been amazing! I’ve struggled with finding a dentist that is easy going & knows I have dental anxiety until I came here out of the blue. Dr. Devor makes the visit easier to get through & makes you wanna come back.
This was the first eye doctor in my 12 years of wearing glasses to get the right prescription. — I struggled with not being able to see generally after receiving glasses, never was as clear as at the office. After my eye exam the eye doctor asked me if I knew I had two different prescription eyes, fast forward to receiving my glasses and I have absolutely never seen better. Everyone is polite and diligent, love this place!!

Please don’t go here! Worst care I ever had. Doctors do not care! I’ve been to all three offices, thinking it would be better but no difference. I went in for knee and foot pain and doctor sent me for x-ray. It’s been three weeks and no call back to explain my results. I called three times requesting doctor to call me back to explain what my results were. Every time I called they said still waiting on results. I called Southwest asking if they were sent and they said they were sent. I received results two days later in my chart. Someone is lying! I shouldn’t have to google what my results mean. SMH…That should be up to your healthcare provider. The doctor wouldn’t even give me anything for pain. I get no sleep at night and by the End of my workday I can’t barely walk. This is horrible when you pay for a service and you get very poor care when it’s health related. Poor practices!!! Do better!!! I did find a private owned doctor now. I just want people to be aware so you don’t waste your time going here. Find doctors who care about their patients. It’s sad.
It’s not a bad place . I saw the dentist in July, says everything is looks great and that all I needed was a good cleaning which I thought would be happening after seeing the dentist. No now I have to wait until September 3 for the cleaning. In all my years going to the dentist, the cleaning was first then the dentist came in and checked my teeth. That appointment felt very incomplete.
Dr. Shneyderman is a great dentist. I've been seeing her for a couple years. She always goes over my dental plan and makes sure I'm comfortable. She's done a lot of fillings this year and somehow convinces me to come back even though I'm terrified of the novocaine needle. She's young but thorough and professional—really cares about her patients.

Dr. Joe (dentist) was amazing. Great bedside manner. Very pleasant guy. The staff including reception and dental assistants were quick, knowledgeable, and also very pleasant.
Easy enter and exit to Broadway. Tons of parking, Wheelchair access (pictured). Bilingual service. Sliding payscale for low income families. My tooth extraction was very reasonably priced.
LCH&D has multiple locations in lorain county and my experience in the Elyria location was very similar.
