My husband and I were longtime patients of Dr. McLean, so we weren't thrilled about change. But Dr. Lauran was fantastic—caring, empathetic, yet thorough. Seriously, we can't say enough good things. The office staff in Atlanta are super nice, pleasant, and helpful, especially with payment options for those without dental coverage. We felt so comfortable that we even switched our 14-year-old from a pediatric dentist to this practice. They do everything from cleanings to Invisalign here, and the whole team makes it easy. 5 stars!

My husband and I have been patients since 1994 and loved Dr. McLean! We miss him but glad he's enjoying retirement. I was worried we'd need to find a new dental practice, but Dr. Lauren stepped in and did a great job. I especially liked that the lovely staff stayed—Ronnie, Kiana, Teri, and Daniele. My family and I have been patients at Millard Cove Dentistry for the past 24 years. Dr. McLean cared for all of us — from my daughters when they were just 1 and 2 years old, to my husband and me — and he has been an exceptional, trustworthy dentist. When we learned he would be retiring in 2025, we were honestly heartbroken and felt a bit lost as a family.
Millard Cove has always felt like a second home. We’ve seen the same wonderful hygienists for years, and the office truly has a family feel. Ronnie, the office manager, deserves special recognition. She is incredibly organized, knowledgeable, and kind — always helping with insurance claims, explaining coverage limits, and making sure there are no surprises with costs. She has taken such good care of our family over the years.
When I recently started experiencing tooth pain, I was genuinely anxious about seeing a new dentist. I called the office because I trust Ronnie, and I even told her that directly when I made my appointment. Walking back into the familiar office after so many years immediately put me at ease.
Seeing the new dentist was such a relief. Her demeanor and conservative approach to treatment reminded me so much of Dr. McLean. I was worried I might be told I needed extensive work right away, but instead, she carefully reviewed my X-ray and reassured me. She confirmed what Dr. McLean had always said — that the small crack in my tooth is superficial and doesn’t require intervention right now, as long as I wear my night guard (which I admittedly need to do more consistently!).
It meant so much to feel heard, respected, and not pressured into unnecessary treatment. Knowing that Millard Cove Dentistry has maintained the same thoughtful, conservative philosophy — both during Dr. McLean’s time and now after his retirement — gives me great comfort.

They didn't inform me my insurance would be out of network, which they don't technically have to do. But if they had, it would have saved a lot of problems for both parties. It took them 5+ months to finally file a claim. I got a bill for a cleaning, then waited for my explanation of benefits. By the time I realized they were out of network, my 6-month cleaning was a few days away. I called to cancel and told them they were out of network. The receptionist said I owed them money and I said 'I know because I just found out.' Really frustrating experience with billing in Atlanta.

Dr Mclean has been my dentist for close to 30 years. I got behind on my cleanings and yep, problems started over the holidays. He personally called me to make sure I was okay! (That means a lot).
