Honestly, the girls at the front desk were so polite and professional right from the start. The medical assistant was friendly too, which really helped calm my nerves. Dr. Desse is very skilled! His assistant (sorry I forgot her name) is outstanding too—she's spot on with her skills making those root canal appointments as easy as could be. My two root canals done recently in Swansea were a breeze. Went to Dr. Markarian in Swansea for a consultation about possibly redoing a root canal. Office management was kind and thorough—something you don't see too often these days. The young lady who took the X-rays was very kind too. Dr. Markarian took his time explaining everything about my tooth, had a great chairside manner, and didn't push me into using 3D imaging. He gave me a few options and good advice for endodontic treatment. Definitely would recommend this endodontist in Illinois!

Always felt anxious about dental stuff, and this was my first root canal. But the team at this Swansea office made it way less intimidating than I thought. I arrived on time. Filled out paperwork. Front staff kept me posted. They were just a bit behind but not as bad as some offices. Dr. Diliberto was professional yet personable and explained my procedure. I just wish I could get in earlier but there are only so many hours in a day!

My daughter who has never had dental work done in her life aside from cleanings and X-rays, found herself needing some work done on two teeth. I had a great experience having a root canal performed by Dr. Jack Desse. He was very professional and likable. I felt very confident in his ability to perform the procedure. Not having a root canal performed previously, I was anxious. However, with the aid of his assistant, the procedure went smoothly. I did not experience any pain or discomfort. Afterwards, any pain I felt was minimal and was treated with OTC medication. I highly recommend Dr. Desse and the dental assistant for your dental needs.
