I have dealt with dentist anxiety my entire life due to bad experiences as a kid. Just recently the only dentist I have ever felt comfortable with retired, leaving me in a very uncomfortable and un-easy situation. I had heard great things regarding Mills & Shannon so I decided to reach out to them due to a tooth that had recently chipped. I explained my fears and anxiety. The staff, hygienists, and dentist were amazing and did not disappoint. The dentist explained step by step what he was doing during the procedure to ease my tension. He even took an extra 10 minutes after the procedure to explain to me what I could expect moving forward. Was texted to come in early due to a cancellation. The cleaning went as scheduled but I was also there to receive an implant. All was scheduled consecutively per their schedule. After my cleaning I still had to wait for over an hour to be seen for my implant. The nice lady Debby ask if I wanted a glass of water, other than that no apology was given. Didn’t even get a free toothbrush for my wasted time or after my cleaning. My time is as valuable as their time but obviously they didn’t think so today. Hopefully my next visit is a speedy one.
