Van is the best hygienist! She's super gentle and always explains everything before starting. My cleanings are always thorough and she's careful with my sensitive spots. Front desk gals Taylor and Coco are always smiling and make check-in easy. Love this place in Milpitas!

I've given a 5 star review before I received a fraudulent bill by them trying to grab a lot of money from me despite my insurance paying them what it they needed. All this is after the pre authorization from my insurance. These people are crooks and doing something illegal with their billing, trying to pocket the money from customers. They have developed an elaborate scheme for this where they send you surprise bills even after insurance paid off properly. DO NOT GO here

I cannot recommend Milpitas Smile Design based on my experience with their billing practices. I hope that they take steps to improve transparency and communication with their patients in the future.
I've had multiple procedures including a wisdom tooth extraction, a root canal, and two caps. These procedures were performed adequately, but their billing process is "fraudulent". They completely "misled" me and encouraged to proceed with services that are beyond my financial comfort level. After 1.5 years, they sent me several bills and asked to pay additional amount (over and above my allowable limit + the HUGE payment I made when I received the services). There is lack of transparency in their billing system.

I had wisdom teeth extraction and a follow up appointment for deep cleaning here. I had earlier called to request emergency appointment due to sharp pain in my wisdom tooth and I’m grateful they accommodated me on the same day and provided temporary relief. They scheduled an extraction appointment quickly next week! Loved the entire experience and the punctuality from the entire team. The place is spotless clean. Felt that Dr. Sandhu and her team went the extra mile to make sure I got the best treatment and answered all my concerned. I feel encouraged to take better care of my oral health. I have Delta dental insurance from my company and they communicated clearly about my out of pocket charges for the extraction. It was very affordable and reasonable. I will be a loyal customer as long I stay in the bay. Highly recommend this hospital. Shoutout to the staff at reception for being responsive and polite. P.S. I didn’t get a chance to personally thank Dr. Sandhu so thank you very much.

I don’t usually do reviews but i HAD to after my visit at milpitas smile design. This place is super welcoming and everyone is professional and very knowledgeable. Just so everyone knows —> im doing this review with zero incentives —>am not receiving any free cleanings, etc or anything for this review. Juliette is the best dentist i have ever ever EVER had!! She is extremely knowledgeable, and amazing at what she does. Zero pain experienced and my teeth have never felt as aligned and in better shape than EVER before. She is one of those dentist you keep forever and never have to find another!! thanks again!!
This place is amazing! Even though I moved out of San Jose, I still commute from Richmond for this office. Staff is super friendly and accommodating with my teacher schedule. Tried other dentists but not the same. Another dentist even complimented the crown done here. So yeah, recommend for any dental work in Milpitas.

I have been with Smile Design since 2006. I have Dr. Yim for a few years. She is very professional, friendly, and caring. She answered all my questions and concerns thoroughly. Always on time and never rush the job. Price is fair and office is clean and comfortable. A+.
I've been taking my entire family here ever since my child was 7-ish. My daughter had some horror stories with her previous dentist and Dr. Sandhu helped with my daughter's fear of needles. And with that I will be forever grateful. She's really something else and her stuff are superb. They're all super nice and I have yet to have a bad experience with them. Super helpful with insurance, and I recommend all my friends to go to her. Phenomenal place!
The whole staff is super positive, very detail oriented, friendly and professional. I’ve been going there for years. Dr. Sandhu helped my daughter get over her fear of needles and has been super patient with her. Going there is almost like visiting family, except they clean your teeth and scold you just the right amount to humble you back to flossing your teeth better. I would recommend them to everyone I know if asked whose the best dentist.
