Being new to Atlanta, I picked Modern Dental based on reviews and location. So glad I did! Dr. Kelley was wonderful, and everyone from front desk to hygienists was super friendly. I was nervous since it had been years since my last visit, knowing I had cavities and gum disease. They never made me feel judged. During procedures they kept me comfortable and let me watch the overhead TV. Highly recommend for adult dentistry in Atlanta.

I knew I should have left when ownership changed, but it's hard to switch providers. Today was the last straw. I wasn't told the practice was sold until I arrived. The new owner, Danielle Greene, had run Fabulous Smiles poorly before. I've had many appointments since, and it's just not the same. Disappointed.

First visit was great. Six months later, disappointing. Cleaning wasn't thorough. Dentist was good, but they didn't forward x-rays to my new dentist as promised. Also missed a damaged molar that my new dentist fixed. Too bad because they're close to my job in Atlanta.

Incredible experience with Modern Dental, especially hygienist Latasha. I've always been nervous about the dentist, which led to neglect. I feel disappointed as a customer as I was abandoned in the middle of my treatment by the previous dentist at this practice. I was initially offered a referral to another specialist, which I felt was fair and honest, and this was then rescinded after I had undergone a consultation. Communication with Modern Dental also ceased despite my attempts to make contact. I am therefore left mid treatment after spending $1000s without it completed as promised. I find it hard to believe that anyone at Modern Dental would want to be treated in this fashion, so it is unfortunate to that I have been the recipient of such actions. It displays a lack of care and consideration for the dignity of another human being and for this reason I would strongly advise against receiving dental treatment at this practice.
Had the worst toothache of my life , needed a dentist in my area ASAP. Lucked up and found a home for my teeth! Not only are they black owned , they’re welcoming, professional and wholesome! It is also a family affair! Monique took great care of me and helped me from start to finish.
If you don’t have insurance, their exams and X-rays very reasonable . Great area, fun people and a caring environment. You can’t go wrong with Modern Dental

Due to many different reasons, I have unfortunately ignored dental care for almost a decade now. I was absolutely petrified to go to the dentist again. I tried to go to my old dentist a couple years ago and they gave me a massive and very expensive list of procedures I needed but told me they couldn’t get started because they were booked solid for six months. Horrible experience.
Fast forward a few years and I am at the point where I HAVE to go to the dentist. My best friend recommended Modern Dental and said they were so kind and very encouraging of her going to school to become a hygienist. So I’m like okay let me try this out.
From the moment I called the very first time, Monique made me feel so at ease and valued as a patient. She has the most pleasant demeanor and honestly kinda feels like a friend now that I’ve been in there a few times. Dr. Mark is awesome too and so are all of the other employees I’ve met. I have to give a special shoutout to DeAndre for going above and beyond to make my experience positive. At my first deep cleaning appointment, I was so nervous to the point that I started crying when explaining my fears to him. Instead of being embarrassed, he gave me the most incredible pep talk and told me how brave I am for even making it through the door. I can’t say enough about his gentle spirit. He is truly an angel to me.

I called this office to get a second opinion on prices because CAMP Creek Dental gave me a 5000 treatment plan which was outrages. I have good insurance so that was odd to me I ended up paying out of pocket $800. Dr. Mark is very gental and talked me thru my fears and having bad dental anxiety. I hate going to the dentist & needles. I love there music playlist I was literally jamming while I was getting my dental work done. Daja was nice ,greeted me and smiled when i came through the door. She was able to get me in the same day ,got the xrays from the other office & had all my insurance in the system so I had minimum wait time in the waiting room. She is a pro at multi-tasking the phone kept ringing and she was also scheduling other patients at another desk while still helping me.I was able to get same day treatment & left out pain free compared to when I came. Dr.Mark is a great dentist she is not like most greedy doctors in Atlanta that gives you all these long treatment plans. I also recommend booking with Latasha for your cleaning she is very through and takes her time explaining about hygiene care. She didnt rush my appointment and made me feel like i was her only patient. The front desk receptionist Deja(has a beautiful smile)is very caring and sweet. I had a hard time getting my insurance information from my employer(I was very frustrated) she didn't rush me she was patient with me and calmed me down. She helped me with the new patient forms.She did a awesome job explaining my treatment plan that Dr.Mark recommend that I needed. Modern Dental have reasonable prices & have different options on helping you with payment and also will work with you for paying for treatment. I saved thousands of dollars coming here. Also they have free and plenty of parking. Thanks for the water and coffee as well!
They exceeded my expectations. I’ve dealt with so many dentist lately that try to run your money up on your insurance, but I went in. D’Angelo was such an awesome Assistant with the cleaning and everything. I appreciate the fact that the first time I went in, I got my teeth cleaned he explained everything every step of the way, and Dr. Mark came in Confirmed what he said and it was a pleasant experience and I don’t wanna leave out the receptionist as soon as I walked in the door her beautiful smile greeted me. It was warm and welcome overall it was an awesome experience.
My oral health has flourished under the care of Modern Dental's thorough team of experts. The space is clean and cozy, the staff communicates well with each other and with their patients, and I find that they bill my insurance with integrity.
