I went here when I was 5 for a cavity fill. They traumatized me—wrapped me down with a heavy restraint and covered my eyes while I cried. Still remember it. If you're in El Centro and need pediatric dental care, avoid this place.

Honestly, this place was a nightmare for us. Took my son in for a pediatric dental exam and it was just unprofessional from start to finish. He was so scared and they didn't do anything to help him feel safe. I ended up crying when we left. Never going back. We switched to Imperial Kids Dental here in El Centro and the difference is night and day. If you're looking for kids dental care in El Centro, skip this one.

My cousin used to work here and told me how rough they are with kids. I'm honestly scared of the Dr.—he seems weird and always in a rush. When he checked my sister's mouth, it took just a few seconds. I kept hearing a child scream in the back, which made me shiver. They're definitely understaffed; one worker looked confused. I think they give kids toys at the end to convince them it was okay, but the experience was traumatic. For pediatric dental care in El Centro, I'd look elsewhere.

I just want to say, this place needs to be out of business for horrible service. They were understaffed when I went—I even had to help with the x-rays for my son. My son is 3 and was a little tough to get his mouth open for X-rays, but they got them. He wasn't misbehaving, just being a 3-year-old. They seemed ready to strap him down if he wasn't an easy patient. Definitely not coming back and wouldn't recommend pediatric dental exams here to anyone in El Centro.

I wouldn't recommend this dentist to my worst enemy. They traumatize kids—they have a whole room in the back where they strap the child so tight you can't move. The Dr. is rude and creepy, always wears goofy hats that scare kids. When I go, I hear kids crying in the waiting room, and they come out with red teary eyes. For pediatric dental care in El Centro, this is not the place. Stay away.

I never get cavities, but my sister does. They took her to a back room with a seat where they strap kids down. I was in the waiting room hearing her cries for help and couldn't do anything. Medical needs to do better—this place should be closed down. I don't understand how it passed safety checks. It's so traumatic for kids, they'll never want to go to a dentist again. My daughter had to two teeth removed and she was really scared (like really really scared) and they told me that she was gonna get a laughing gas and she was going to calm down, but the doctor and another assistant (not so friendly) came in and started everything so fast (i mean the extraction was really fast but before that the xray and everything was not) point is my daughter was screaming so loud and crying and she was tied up and they told me the gas was gonna help her but they didn’t let the gas do his thing, well, my daughter now it’s traumatized and she doesn’t want to go to the dentist anymore
It left me traumatized. They don't let the anesthesia sit long enough to numb you, so you feel most of the pain. Do NOT recommend if you want the job done well. You'd think it'd be nice because they put Paw Patrol on, but no. For fillings or any pediatric dental care in El Centro, go somewhere else.

believe me it’s the worst, I went when I was in 1st grade and it traumatized me, and I thought they would get better over time at taking care of these children, nope I was wrong i got picked up from school today and my 4 year old nephew was sweating and his face was red, once we got home he was knocked out asleep from all the screaming and crying and distress he felt at the dentist, it makes me so mad to the point where I want someone to sue Neverland. do better and start taking care of them not tying them up and lying to the parents that they will be okay when you know they come out sweating and crying.
Staff and assistants are very nice. The doctor himself should not be working with children. He is rude and seemed to rush. We will not be going back.
Only cash business. They do not accept cards . Someone send the memo, this is 2020. I had to do additional payment for procedures " not fully covered " for my insurance. My other kid had exact same procedure at other place and it was fully covered. It was very fishy the they requested cash the remaining balance
Amazing! We were traveling from out of state when my son's spacer broke, causing him pain. We stopped in on our way to San Diego. The dentist finished with their current patient and immediately checked my son. A couple snips and the spacer was out—no more pain. The dental assistants kept him calm, super friendly. The receptionist gave us gauze for the sharp metal. If you're in El Centro and need emergency dental care for kids, this is the place. So grateful!

I’ve been taking all 3 of my children there for the last 4 years and the dentist and his staff have been nothing but wonderful with my kids. They explain what they find and what the plan is. They allow me to be by my children’s side while getting work done. The assistants always explain things if I have questions.

The worst dentist ever! Little Shop of Horrors! My 15 year old is traumatized for life! The cavities they claimed she had were non existent. After speaking to a BETTER Dentist, he stated she had one small cavity. I wouldn't recommend this dentist to my worst enemy. Both kids have Dr.Parilla now and love him. At this dentist there is NO torture chamber in the back. During my daughter's anxiety attack caused by Neverland, they were really calm and understood exactly what she was feeling. I can't believe Medi-cal supports this type of dentistry. Shame on them!!
Service isn't very personalized . However, for a cleaning I would go for work to be done I wouldn't do it again as the first time several years ago I was not allowed to enter with my son and he became traumatized. Other than that they are gentle with the children for cleaning and xrays.we have been seen dame day for tooth aches .
I don't get the bad reviews. Maybe their kids were acting out, but I went in with my 4 sons aged 7 to 2 and they were patient even with my boys walking around touching everything. My 7 and 6 year old needed work, and they wanted to tie them down, but I asked if they could try without due to trauma, and they agreed. It worked! They did their best to keep them calm and work quickly. For pediatric dental exams in El Centro, this place is better than people claim.
