I would not recommend this facility to anyone who is in need of any dental services or assistance in Newton. I scheduled an appointment on December 30th 2025 for January 6th 2026. Whichever secretary that had made that appointment took all the information for the patient, insurance, etc and everything was all setup and ready for the 6th. So fast forward to the day, we arrive early and come to find out that apparently there is no appointment in their database? No appointment, none of the patients information, no record in their system, nothing after a nearly 10 min phone call that confirmed the date and

Dr. Pete is AMAZING! My daughter broke her 2 front teeth and when I called the after hours number, Dr. Pete called me back within 30 minutes! After sending him pictures of my daughter’s teeth he suggested I bring her in the office the following day (Sunday). He was so compassionate and explained everything he was doing to my daughter calming her nerves. Later on that night he reached out to check in on my daughter to see how she was feeling. He is such an amazing doctor and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Thank you again Dr. Pete!! 🙂

I haven't been taking my daughter here long, but I want to review based on an emergency situation we had on Saturday. We noticed an abscess on my daughter's front crown Saturday, at like noon (the office closes at 12). I quickly called, and they asked me if i could send a picture right away, and were even going to squeeze us in right away had we not been out of town. Dr. Pete reviewed the picture, called us back within 30 minutes, and immediately sent an antibiotic and a recommendation. I was so comforted by their response and care in the matter. Today is Monday, and I called for a follow-up,

Dr. Mike and his staff are the best! My kids love going there! They used to be apprehensive going to the dentist but not anymore thanks to everyone there! Another year going here! The boys will be coming for a long time!

Dr. Mike and his staff are wonderful, patient, kind, they explain everything step by step and understand a visit can bring many challenges and feelings. Dr. Mike was very honest with my daughter and met her where she was at with her anxiety and tinnitus. This practice is honest and not a fill and drill office. I am so glad we called and had a consultation. The ladies at the front are welcoming, and helpful with any questions and concerns and booking appointments. I like how it says closed Saturday bc it is not. I'm giving one star for the incompetent staff. The doctors and hygienists are great. The staff really brings down such a great group. Multiple times they have messed up my appointments and have not had my son down. I walked in and sat down told the name, it was confirmed and we waited. Other people were seen that came in after us. I went back to the desk and asked the girl if we were late or if appointment was later. She said no and that we will be taken in shortly. After waiting 15 mins she asks what was the name again and then proceeds to tell

My kids absolutely love this place! The staff and drs are amazing! My daughter today had to have some dental work done and she was seen by Dr Mike and it was the best experience we have had with any dentist! Took my son here while we were in the area and he loved everything about this office. The hygienists, the dentist, down to secretary were amazing. If you have a child and need a pediatric dentist, this is the office for you! My son is 7 and he had to have work done that required 2 different sessions and this team is absolutely amazing! I don't think my child even flinched during either session. I was amazed by how this professional team worked. So glad I decided to have my son's dentistry work done here in Newton!

Dr. Mike and his staff’s only concern is about money. They have no regard for their patients or their health. They recently fired an employee who screwed up everyone’s accounts and instead of apologizing and recognizing what happened they went after patients and demanded money they didn’t even know was owed and refused to treat patients that had been going to them for years. I am mortified at the way my children were treated. What a horrible horrible man.
This is the 1st dentist we took our son too and have been going back ever since. He is going to be 4. It is always a pleasant experience. Not to mention there is so many games and things for kids to look at so they almost forget the reason they are there. All the staff is so patient and knowledgeable! Definitely will be bringing our next kid here too!

Dr Mike has been seeing my daughter for a few years. We try every six months to get a cleaning but she is scared. Each time we get a little further than the last time. His patience and gentle touch is helping her not be scared. He also allows me to sit closer to her to keep her calm. The office is super kid friendly and fun and I love that they know her name as soon as she walks through the door.
The most amazing group of dentists for kids. We have both my 7 and 2 yr old going there and they go above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable. My 2 yr old sits so nicely with the attention they give. They’re overall such an amazing group.
Edit: they still continue to be amazing with our little ones. My soon to be 9 yr old and 3 year actually love going to the dentist. They’re patient and amazing all around with the kids.
Love this dental office! The staff is amazing! It's decorated so cute! Has video games in the waiting area, which works wonderfully when you are here with multiple children. The place is super clean!! Huge A+ for me! My kiddos are excited to go to the dentist!! My ONLY complaint- wish they accepted adults as patients!

The staff at NSPDO is always accommodating and friendly for my sons needs. They make him feel comfortable. The office is clean and well decorated. They treat their patients like family, and have helped us when we needed them when Liam went for surgery. They sent a personal card which made his day!

My husband and I are 100% happy with Dr. Mike and his staff! Unlike our child's previous dentist, Dr. Mike actually explained things very in-depth to us. He even showed us our son's x-rays and explained what is growing in where, what needs to be taken care of, and what things are optional. The whole staff is SO kind! From reception to the dental hygienist we saw, it was a great experience, especially for our son. We totally love the kid-friendly atmosphere. Thank you for taking such good care of our son!
