Had a terrible gum issue and was in so much pain. Dr. Shor saw me right away at North Babylon Dental and fixed me up. The front desk was super friendly and helpful too. Honestly, 10/10 service for emergency dental care in North Babylon.

I’m giving 2 stars because the office is clean and the staff are nice.
My family and I used to use Geller Dental Group in Bellmore (who are amazing) but between school, work and other appointments, it just made sense to find a local dentist. We recently took our son to North Babylon Dental. They are very nice in there. At the end of the appointment, we were told that he has 8 cavities and they would be in touch with what our out of picked expenses would be after speaking to our insurance (Verizon-MetLife).
When they finally contacted us back, we were informed that they were charging $250 for EACH CAVITY (because they were deep) and that’s AFTER our insurance covered their portion!
We called back Geller Dental and their out of pocket was a fraction of the price so we made an appointment to bring him back there.
I am currently sitting with the dentist that my son has been seeing since he was little and she is looking at the X-rays that North Babylon Dental sent over.
She didn’t want me to tell her how many cavities NBD said he had because she wanted to tell me what she saw on the X-rays.
She only saw 4 and they’re surface cavities! Our out of pocket for each cavity is $37!
To overcharge is one thing, but to double the amount of cavities just to make money is utterly ridiculous!

Based on the X-rays, and confirmed during an oral exam, we stand by our medical findings based on 15+ years of professional experience. We offered to walk you through the X-rays in person and answer any questions you may have free of charge.
As is our policy with all patients; to avoid any surprise charges we sent the treatment plan to your insurance company and informed you before your son’s scheduled appointment what your out-of-pocket expenses would be as determined by your insurance company.

Overall great experience at North Babylon Dental. The hygienist who did my cleaning was super nice and gentle – I think her name was Tracy? She did an awesome job. The doctor also took time to explain everything and find the best solution for my teeth. Would recommend to anyone needing a dentist in North Babylon.

I took my son to ask if they accepted Health First insurance. The way they looked at me and responded was shocking – no attention, no kindness. Felt completely disregarded because of my insurance. Unacceptable treatment.

I have procrastinated this review because I've never written a review before. Let me start with Dr. Shor is an Amazing Dentist. She is caring and Really listens!! A little quick history. I have terrible teeth due to childhood medication. She has state-of-the-art technology 3D. and I just had 2 implants put in my mouth and very Minimal pain. Through my years, I suffered more with having a tooth pulled. If you're looking for a dentist that you can trust and count on, she is the one. I give her the best rating. Dr. Asya Shor is a professional knowledgeable caring person , shes'll go that extra mile on her dental office just to get you that lost smile on your face with confidence, she really does a very satisfying neat dental work on your mouth with pride.
I had tooth extraction root canals and crowns done on her office and I was very happy with that.
The front desk Staff are friendly and nice they 'll call your insurance and set your next appointment as soon possible at your convenience schedule.
The Hygienist is must see if you want that clean shiny teeth, she's professional and cares about people smile and happiness.
Dr. Shor is extremely skilled, attentive, friendly, caring and respectful. All the staff are friendly and professional. The office is very convenient, clean and tidy. Going to the dentist is not my cup of tea, but I will be sure to return for all my dental needs. The dental hygienist really did an excellent job. And I so hate getting my teeth cleaned. With this office I was very comfortable with the staff. They did not chastise me, not talk down to me like a child. Dr. Shor is factual and down to earth. They play music all the time. Makes me want to get the chair and dance. This is a good place for all family members.

Today was my first visit at North Babylon Dental. From start to finish my appointment ran smoothly and I felt so comfortable. Anne, the hygienist was gentle , friendly and just all around amazing.
