Even though I was 15 minutes late to the appointment, the dentist saw me anyway. The dentist Paul Ponte was very efficient with his work. He finished my dental checkup in half an hour. He is good at his job.
I am leaving two stars and leaving my name anonymous as this company seems to respond with “you aren’t a patient” with that being said I recently had quite extensive work done on both my right and left sides of my mouth; rather large operations I may add. Prior to this work being done my teeth were rotting and cracking in multiple places I can say that confidently the dentist did take out the rot and cavity’s however prior to the work being done my teeth that did not have discoloration are now black in areas as well as being chipped when this was never the case before in fact in this example this tooth had no problems. In addition to this the two primary teeth that needed work are extremely uncomfortable and poorly done in my opinion. The point I am trying to get to by sharing my experience is that the dentist and staff are quite friendly however due to the severity of my conditions the work that was done was sub par and I am now canceling any further appointments as well as seeking other practices to fix this. In addition to this my cleaning also was unsatisfactory leaving much to be desired, the force in which was used to scrape was far to much as well as the speed in which it was done seemed to be rushed.
My closing statement would be to say for basic work and or cleaning’s you may find this place for you however for me I do not recommend and highly suggest seeking another practice.

Got an appointment quickly within 12 hours for a broken tooth in Fall River. Once we decided it needed extraction, Dr. Ponte had it out in just a few minutes so I could head back to work. Rita the receptionist is always great with scheduling, and the dental assistants are pleasant and professional. I am 36 years old and have spent 34 of those years dreading going to the dentist. 2 years ago I switch to dr. Ponte at north main dental and realized it wasn’t the dentist in general that was awful just the place. Once I switched over to north main dental going to the dentist is a breeze, he is an amazing doctor, very efficient and super quick. If anyone has a fear of going to the dentist, go to him and you will be over that fear after your first visit trust me. I just a tooth pulled awake for the first time with him yesterday and as nervous as I was, I am now over that fear because he did an amazing job and had it out so fast I was amazed.
I recently broke one of my teeth and my dentist of 25 years was unable to get me in. I called in and the girl at the front desk was great. Not only was she pleasant and made sure that she got me in right away to see the dentist, she was extremely empathetic and also gave me great recommendations to help with the pain. When I arrived and got checked in, the front desk girl greeted me with a smile and extremely friendly demeanor. Once I saw the dentist, he was quick and efficient with fixing my tooth. I felt nothing! Needless to say I immediately scheduled my next cleaning with them and will be leaving my old dentist. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Went in for a cleaning and im usually really nervous with dental visits but this office was awesome! The staff was very sweet and took all my information right away. The dentist was very kind and made sure I was super comfortable. All of the staff was personable and I didnt have to wait a long time to be seen. Will be returning!! 10/10
I have been going to North Main dental since I was a child and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They are efficient in their work and take pride in what they do. The front desk girls are so helpful and I love the reminder texts that they send out before my appointment. Nothing but good things to say about this practice!
If you ever are scared to go to the dentist or you have to find a new dentist I recommend this dentist office. I travel 40 minutes just to come here they are beyond nice amazing and kind. And then call you and remember you by me and they follow up with phone calls to make sure you’re doing OK Love it
My wife has been terrified of dentist's for years. I've been here before and they were great, I recommend she try them. She's been multiple times and has said it's been the best experience with a dentist and will continue to go to only them. I highly recommend North Main Dental. The staff are great, very friendly and informative. They put you at ease. The dentist takes the time to explain your options and lets you make the final decision on treatment without making you feel judged. Which was huge for her... 5 stars are not enough would give 100 for the smile my wife feels great showing.
