I was so hesitant to bring my highly sensitive daughter with sensory issues back to the dentist after a bad experience somewhere else. But Dr. No is SO PATIENT. I cannot recommend him and his staff enough. When I made the appointment, they offered to let me bring her a couple of days before the cleaning so she could feel familiar with the space and the people, and that was so incredibly kind of them. Dr. No met with us himself, took her back into the exam room and let her look all around. On the day of the cleaning, when she refused to open her mouth at first, he took so much time to make her feel comfortable and even though I was ready to throw in the towel, he just kept being his friendly and gentle self, and eventually was able to not only brush her teeth, but even scrape tartar off with a tool that I expected to completely freak her out. Literally every person in this office was so helpful and so patient and I cannot even believe they were real. It was such a positive experience. I was less worried about my 2 year old, but he was obviously nervous at a new experience too, and was also reluctant to open his mouth at first, but Dr. No worked his magic and both my kids left laughing and neither are nervous about going back in 6 months. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.
My girls are 8 and 10 now and we've been seeing Dr. Jenny and Dr. Brian since they were 2. Both dentists are professional yet kind, and they've helped us navigate cavities, crowns, cleanings, and general dental questions. Somehow they make it enjoyable—kids and parents feel at ease. By walking into the practice you know you are there for a good experience, the office itself is extremely clean and beautiful we love the staff! I recommend The Dentist for Kids to everyone. The Doctor takes the time to explain what is going on and what needs to be done. He makes your child feel comfortable and not afraid. Nova pediatric dentistry is wonderful!! From the waiting room to the exam rooms, everything is kid friendly and extremely clean! The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming and Dr Jenny and her assistant were both amazing with my 3 year old. Dr Jenny took her time as she could tell my son was scared. She showed him all of the tools and let him touch them and took her time explaining everything and made it fun. I highly recommend Nova pediatrics for anyone looking for an amazing dentist for their children!
