Honestly, after so many bad experiences with dentists around Staten Island, I was ready to give up. But Dr. G is different - he actually explains everything and makes sure you're comfortable the whole time. Had two emergencies where I needed to see him ASAP, and his whole office in Staten Island, NY got me in right away. Tried contacting this office for 3 months and no answer. They left me with stitches in my mouth and never reached out to me or offered to remove the stitches. I had to goto a completely different dentist/office to get them removed. Extremely unprofessional

Really disappointed with how things went. I actually liked Dr. G when I saw him - he's nice, respectful and knows his stuff. Only saw me twice in Staten Island but was helpful. The problem? He's never available when you need him. Got canceled on three times which was frustrating. My old dentist in Bay Ridge stopped practicing, so I was searching for a dentist in Staten Island, NY. Dr. G works at multiple offices and they cancel appointments way too often here.

Erin, receptionist is a doll. The only positive aspect there. No wonder I never saw any patient in that office. There are plenty of really excellent oral surgeons in SI and Brooklyn and they are really HONEST.
Excellent experience, removed 2 wisdom teeth and the process was painless and the dentist was highly professional and made sure I didnt feel any pain throughout the procedure. Would highly recommend ✨💯👍

Shopped around for 18 months before finding Dr. G, and wow - from the staff to the easy Staten Island location, everything's great. Was totally petrified about getting a dental implant, but Dr. G made it quick and painless. Can't wait to get my crowns done here too!

These folks in Staten Island are absolute miracle workers! My husband had a wisdom tooth infection for months that nobody would touch because it was near a nerve. Called around desperately one Monday night at 6pm - Nu Dental in Staten Island was actually open! Told them about the pain, and they said come right in for wisdom teeth removal. Dr. G extracted it that same night when no other dentist in Staten Island, NY would. Unbelievable emergency service.

It’s the worst practice. Stay away! They are not upfront and honest with you. I was told my treatment would cost me $250 “from nuts to bolts”. Once I got to the dental office and had my molds done, I was told I would have to pay ANOTHER $500 for a retainer that wasn’t included. What part of “nuts to bolts” was missing when I got the first price?? Then to make matters worse, no one from the practice who I spoke to from receptionists to managers to the owner himself owned up to the mistake! They should have waived the fee or in the very least offer me a discount, but none was given unfortunately. This practice is awful and the customer service is even worse! Stay away from this shady, dishonest and unprofessional place!!

In this particular case, Maria and Dr. S discussed with you at your initial consultation the price regarding the total service of the Nu Smile Aligners that we offer for $1750.00. This is a fraction of the average cost of aligners that are approximately $5,000 -$7,000. When a patient proceeds with Nu Smile Aligners, we strongly encourage our patients to purchase the permanent retainer at the end of treatment to ensure the results stay for a lifetime. While we strongly encourage the final retainer, which is recommended by any dental office with the process of Aligners, it is not required to purchase with our office.

There was a misunderstanding about the treatment I came in. The owner reached out and explained thoroughly procedure after the issue came up and was accommodating to correct the issue.
Word of advice, be very clear as to what your looking for. Ask all questions about procedure and pricing before the dentist or hygienist begins procedures.

Been seeing Dr. G at Nu Dental in Staten Island for years now - hands down the best dentist I've ever had. Not just a nice guy, but super professional and takes great care of your teeth. Had fillings, root canals, and about 4 dental implants with him, all successful. The Staten Island office is easy to get to from New Jersey since it's right over the border. Best part? They don't overbook - always seated within 5 minutes. One-on-one service from Dr. G and his whole Staten Island, NY team.

Beyond exceptional work, Dr. G is more than welcoming to new comers! Dr. G worked on my mothers teeth as well as my own, if I had any questions, Dr. G took the time to explain the routine. I got a dental implant, which I had many questions about as I was worried about my smile most of all! I can gladly say I got my smile back, which sounds like a corny line you hear on tv but it's the honest truth! Erika, Dr. G's office assistant was more than helpful when it came to setting up appointments and cancellations, Dr. G's office worked with me on financing options so I can get the work that I wanted done. I've been to many dental offices in Staten Island, and this was the one of the few that had a wheelchair ramp for disabled patients, they even are wheelchair friendly inside the office too!
